History
The humans of planet Earth had long lived in harmony with mother nature. However, in the past hundred years, things had been different. The humans no longer respected animals, and many of the species were restless. A group of wolves searched the land masses for some way to get away from the human menace. The year 1960 was upon them...
They found their solution near the coast of Africa. Over hundreds of years, somehow unseen by humans, continuous volcanic activity formed a new land mass. This area had become a utopia over the years, and the animals realized that this might just be their chance to get away. They swam from the coast, drawing further and further away until they could no longer see the mainland. They finally reached the sandy beaches of a new continent. This area, for now unknown by humans, was exactly what they had been searching for. The animals quickly settled into their new home. The animals lived in harmony for over forty years.
In 2000, the humans finally surveyed the land mass. Somehow, their scientists had overlooked this land, and their ship routes had mysteriously passed it by. A horde of humans flooded the continent, sticking their noses in where the wolves believed they didn't belong. Mankind attacked them, slaughtering all the wolves in sight and burning large areas of the island. Finally, accepting that this place was not fit for human life after their tyrade, the scientists left, deeming the land uninhabitable.
Wolves that had hidden from the human's flames and the merciless weapons slowly began to emerge from their hiding places. Over the next eight years, the plant life gradually grew back. Now, the wolves needed to figure out a way to survive with many of their resources exhausted...

Across the river, through the plains, and into the border of Kamari. That's where they stood now, on the fringe of the pack land that flourished amidst destruction. The journey had been a strange one, made under the cover of night. Constantly Irirangi and Alya argued over control, one wanting to push their body to the fullest while the other desired slow travel that conserved their strength.
Having to share her body with such as stubborn ghost was hell for Iri. Alya and herself had always been at odds, but this was ridiculous! Her thoughts were no longer sacred, safe inside her mind. And her body was no longer hers to control. It wasn't fair! Alya seemed to have no sense of fatigue or pain. Where as every step further caused her muscles to ache, her heart to pound, and her breathing to quick, the ghost was oblivious to it all. Irirangi wanted rest. Alya wanted only to push on.
Now that they had finally reached the outskirts of Kamari, things finally seemed to be going Iri's way though. They'd halted, daring to go no further than they had. Though her manners were gruff, the Maned femme had always observed pack etiquette. It ensured she walked away with her life. Alya, on the other hand, was highly professional. Though she demanded respect she knew when she must repay the favor. The pair were to not get off to a bad start with the Haishin alpha. Zahir needed an alliance, and Alya needed to come to terms with the land of her death. Should their howl be met with Ardemu, it was already resolved that that brute was as good as dead. If another currently ruled the loner lands, they would tell Alya's story and demand assistance. Zahir would never fall to rogues again.
Throwing their head back, the pair let out a haunting melody in Iri's voice. "We've come to meet the Haishin alpha. Should he welcome us, we bring news of Zahir." They then settled onto their haunches, prepared for a long wait. All the while they gazed into the territory, silver optics both seeing and unseeing. On one hand, they observed the slowly healing land and scanned for any signs of an approach. On the other, Alya's memories of the last time she'd been here flashed rapidly through her mind. Kamari was where she was sentenced to death. Kamari was where they'd lost Ithyph. Kamari was where they would hope for a strong alliance. Kamari was where Alya would set in motion her plans for revenge.
'Must you think so darkly? We're here for an alliance. Your personal vendettas are not on the agenda.' Iri's thoughts were clipped as she failed to keep in her annoyance. By now she was sick of it. Alya seemed to have a one track mind, the majority of the evening's thoughts taken up by her plans for destroying Ardemu. What Alya thought next was enough to quell the annoyance of the Maned fae, however, at least for a little while. 'Calm down, puppet. It is Ardemu's life that still ties me to this land. We will not rest until his blood is spilled. Only then shall we have peace.'
The alpha brute strode along his territory, curious to meet these wolves who thought it wise to call to him in such an abbraisive manner. These wolves have no respect, he thought once more, knowing that this may not be the case, but still a little peeved that everyone thought it was an excellent idea to dance along the pack lands without any consequences. He had only offered Legacy a home due to her circumstances, under which he was not completely comfortable with her, but was willing to give her a chance. Nothing would please him more than to put some of these wolves back in their places. Whatever had happened to manners?
Finally, the brute spotted a lone maned wolf waiting for him. Zethrox cocked his head slightly; had the howl not insinuated multiple wolves? What, multiple personality disorder? he though, confused. Whatever was going on these days, he did not want to have to deal with it. The wolf meandered, taking his sweet time as if to prove to the femme that he was working on his own schedule, not hers. Eventually, he approached the femme, his position not in the least submissive.
"I am Zethrox, the alpha of Haishin and the ruler over Kamari. Pray, why do you call to me in such a way?" he inquired directly, still miffed at being torn from his work, yet genuinely curious as to her presence here. "I was under the assumption that you were accompanied by others. I have two members of my pack that will join us shortly. I do hope that this will not be any problem?" He asked, though not leaving the matter up to negotiation. He would not stick around for long unless the female had a halfway decent reason to be here. She obviously was not an alpha, though she did smell of the southwestern lands. Perhaps a member of the Zahir pack that had suffered so much?
The brute was slightly chilled. There was something unnerving here, but he could not quite place his paw on it. The femme had an odd aura, as if she was not alone as she orginally appeared. What the hell was going on here? Zethrox was not amused by whatever witchcraft or sorcery this femme was using. He was not pleased to be confronted in such a manner, and he most definitely did not feel comfortable in the leggy femme's presence without the two femmes from his pack. The sooner they arrived, the better.
What am I, a pup? I can handle this on my own, he reassured himself. "Well, what is your business?" he asked again, steadying his breathing and now allowing his body to display any signs of his internal distress.
