History:

    River was born in southern Israel to a litter of three. Her two siblings died during their first few weeks of life and River was the soul survivor. She had a strong will and determination from the start, life is like a game of survival to her. She seemed anxious to grow up and by three months her pack moved to their summer renovation site. Once she discovered running it was all she wanted to do, since the site was on a river she would race up and down the banks while her parents were away hunting.

    When she reached six moons a group of hunters came to the valley she lived in. They shot her mother and managed to wound her father. Still a pup River was orphaned after her father died from blood loss. Using all her prior knowledge she did her best to hunt and soon became fairly skilled. Managing only to kill enough prey to keep her alive and nothing to large. The hunters began to set traps and she soon became aware of the scents and signs. River made sure to avoid them whenever she went off to hunt. When the trouble from humans didn't recede she began trekking farther from her home.

    When she was less then seven months River had completely left her old home. She killed prey on the run and never stayed in one place for to long. When she was about nine months she found another dispersal female like herself. Her name was Onyx and was eleven years of age, they traveled together and Onyx became like Rivers second mother. However everything dies and when River was about eleven months Onyx was hit by a car and died an hour after.

    Devastated River stayed by Onyx's death site for twenty seven days only traveling a short distant to hunt and drink from the various puddles of water scattered from recent rain falls. When she knew it was time to move on River dragged Onyx into the under brush and buried her near a dried stream bed. Once finished she stayed one night at Onyx's burial site then began her traveling once more.

    At fourteen months River found herself on the coast of the Mediterranean sea where she stuck around. Incidentally she wound up on a small steam ship when she was seventeen months. The ship was traveling to Africa and far away from her homeland. Confined there for a few days she grew restless and managed to sneak her way to the top deck. Jumping off about 3000 feet from Anikira island off the African coast, she swam her way to shore with the help of the tide. River ended up on the Endyt beach where she stayed for a couple days before traveling inland. She stayed mainly in the I'queyer where no wolf pack roamed and easily tracked down plenty of prey. Rarely coming in contact with other wolves and no signs of humans, she was content with her new life and has had no need to explore the rest of the island.   

Personality:

    River was determined from the start, once she set her mind to something nothing could stand in her way. A loyal pack mate and brave character any pack would be lucky to have her. She is a very cheerful wolf and playful, when it comes to pack mates or close ones she is fairly relaxed. Although, challenge her and you will regret it. River is hardly demanding, easily persuaded and will go along with anything.

    A kind and gentle soul River avoids a fight whenever it is possible. She knows how to survive in the world not just exist. To this open-minded female life is a game of survival. River will do whatever it takes to survive and gain the upper hand.

    Overall she is a sweet female, young of course so her curiosity still tends to be very strong. Just beginning to grow into the life of an adult she is beginning to understand behaviors quite a bit better. River will stop at nothing to please those around her and prove herself worthy of praise. Showing her rather protective side towards those she cares about, and like most wolves River does have a vicious side but it only shows when she's defending her honor or protecting her loved ones.
