Tala didn't really allow the further words Datura spoke to sink in. She was to focused on the young ones. However, the last phrase took a hold on her thoughts. "You belong here now, Dear Tala. Always." Soft ears swiveled slightly at those words. She felt there were volumes spoken in a mere sentence or two. Was Datura ordering her? Claiming her even more intently to be lost in the sea of giants here. Comforting? No, Datura was not the kind, not from the whispers Tala had heard from others.
Pushing the torrent of questions aside, Tala settled on among the now fidgety group of younglings. One pup, a girl, stared up at her quizzically as the snowy female lowered herself next to them. Tala could see the beauty that this pup would grow into with such a palette of colors through her whole body. But then teeth wrapped around her tail, causing a quiet whuffing sound of surprise. It didn't really hurt but the youngster seemed determined with a growl that may have been deemed as cute if her tiny teeth wasn't gnawing on Tala's tail.
Wishing not to disturb the others, Tala reached over to take the scruff of the little feisty girl and pull her off of the fluffy banner. Energetic, determined and certainly would be a handful as this duo colored eyed girl grew up. Tala wondered of her children would be like this or if they would inherit more of her quiet nature.
Still the ever calm and quiet female, Tala attended to the young as best she could. These were certainly Goliath's children, unlike any she had ever seen or taken care of before. Datura would be busy, that is if she remained the sentinel over them or if she relied on baby sitters instead.
She did speak of going to Ina'mos and Tala was to watch the young then as she was 'unfit to go', true this was probably supposed to be another blow to her but Tala didn't care. She wouldn't want to go even if she was allowed. Pups were much preferred, even mischievous ones.
