Wildheart strode along the white sand, his head pounding as he looked about him. Squinting his eyes against the sun's glare he looked about him. He chuffed gently as he looked about him, unsure what exactly to do. He and Zenzi had yet to find a pack, and to say he was getting worried would be a lie. He was really getting anxious. He hadn’t seen hide nor hair of any beast or friend, in some time. Granted, it was making way to Spring now, it had been a brief, but Cold winter. He supposed that had a lot ot do with the amount of wolves not present in the surrounding areas.
He shifted his weight and continued on, a slow pant all that left his mouth. He was unsure what he was looking for, just looking. He stopped briefly to relieve himself and sniff around for any scent of any others around. It was wearing on Zenzi this constant moving about. She was also having some serious baby fever, and it made him weak in the knees to realize, she may go into heat soon. He wasn’t even sure, how he was going to be able to handle it. He did however know, he would have to deny her the one thing they both wanted at the time. Because they could not raise babies here in the wilds, without a pack. And they would enter a pack, far too low on the totem pole to allow breeding.
He lifted a leg again and began a slow trot along the beach. Every step jarring his head, but he refused to quite. He needed to find at the least a place to bed for the night, at the most a pack for Zenzi and he. He hoped he would find one soon, because he was fast losing hope.
