History: (Took creative liberty here. Will edit at 1 year.)
There once was an angel Vitharr, the creation of the god Fenrir. To behold him was to understand literal perfection, an archangel who was meant to forever dwell in the presence of Fenrir. He was wise and intelligent, and far from ordinary in every sense of the word. But Vitharr became prideful, wanting more than for what he was created. He wanted to be worshiped himself, and so he fell from the heavens, cast aside by the god who created him. The Father stripped him of his beauty and perfection, and he was angry. The archangel became infamous, his rage fueling his revenge upon those who had wronged him. They battled indirectly in a horrid passive-aggression, Vitharr unable to reach the god in the heavens to execute his plans, and Fenrir unwilling to bend down to him.
Raum was born to a mother too kind and innocent for the world. Tala was an angel, pure and sweet, untainted by the bitterness of the world. She was a perfect vessel for children of Fenrir, the god who had touched the monster Goliath and inhabited him, his might shadowed only by his own children. It was with this expectation that Raum was born, the darkness amongst a litter of purer souls. He was the shadow against the bright light in which his siblings shone, and instead of taking the innocence from his mother or the godliness from his father, the pup was born of the most sinister parts of the great Emperor of Kairos, a fallen messenger. He was divine.
Some say that Fenrir lived in Goliath always. Some thought he only came in bursts. But to some, Fenrir had been incarnated directly as the massive brute. He had finally come down from the heavens and held himself inside an earthly cage. It was only a matter of time before his oldest enemy broke free from his seed like a parasitic snake, finally within the reach of hell.
And so, as he had done in a different age, Fenrir created a son, and the battle raged on.
Personality:
The insanity that plagued his father has amplified and become uncontrollable in Raum. As a pup, he will be consistently drawn to nefarious acts, and as he grows, what is seen as mischief will turn insidious. Driven by a vision seen by his half sister, he views his actions as righteous and towards a definite end goal. That is to say that Raum has a standard moral code, of knowing what is right and wrong in normal communication and behavior. However, as he grows older, he will begin to see himself as an exception to the normal rules set in place by his father, and by society. Like a revolutionary, his behavior is almost anarchist, and his views of the world will shift to a very dark one.
Manipulative and cunning, Raum is intelligent, though not as smart as he thinks he is. He is a chronic user of others, and sometimes appears without remorse later in life. As a pup, he will be confused, battling the darkness he feels inside him and his guilt of knowing what he's doing is wrong- like experimenting on prey, or playing with various dangerous insects.
In life, he will become stoic and cold through his experiences, and mold himself to what any situation dictates in order to get what he wants. Raum will become elitist and powerful, and need consistent dominance in order to remain calm. His temper is raging, though it will become more controlled and selective once he is made a eunuch. Castration will only make Raum more dangerous, less volatile, and with more calculation, a combination that will allow him to throw away his old life and take on his prophesied name- Vitharr.
In shorter terms, the young Raum is plagued with guilt, rage, and deep emotional and mental confusion. He is impulsive and unpredictable, and unfortunately, often violent. He feeds off of intimidation, always feeling a mixture of love and disgust from his family and siblings. He is constantly frustrated with his Sisyphean battle against himself, and often needs to dominate or assault others in order to prove to himself that he is in control. Vitharr, on the other hand, will be icy and collected, and undeniably dangerous. Precise and snakelike is an excellent word to describe the wolf of the future, with insidious motivations and twisted goals. On the surface, he is without guilt or remorse, and devoid of feelings. Deeper, though, a deeply angry bitterness toils in the hells of his soul, which he can call upon at any moment.
