He walks. | He talks. | He thinks.
He was leaving soon, traveling with his brother and the other pups old enough to journey off of the Ina'mos for the Agoge. It would be difficult, it would be trying, but as long as he had Othrys at his side, he knew he would succeed. But right now, right now he was taking some time for himself on the edge of the island. He had been here before, but not many times. The Atoll under the water off the coast was truly beautiful, but not as beautiful as he was. Nothing was, except Othrys, however. The twins were so similar, but at the same time, so different. He could not help but imagine what his brother would think right now if he could hear his own thoughts. Would he agree? Would he argue that he was the more attractive twin?
The young prince laughed softly at the thought. How could he be? They were twins. Shaking his head slowly, he moved forward and towards the water. It was shallow here, but the liquid was much colder than he expected. He lifted a paw as the water snaked towards it, threatening to chill him to the bone with a single touch. He would have growled at it if he were younger and did not know better, but he was well informed that the water was not actually alive. It was not attacking him. He smirked as he thought about his younger days, about how much he had changed, how much they both had changed. Things would be even more different soon, they would be warriors of Kairos when they returned.
His paws were carrying him again in a matter of moments, however. An onlooker might assume he was pacing, but he really was paying little attention to what his paws were doing. They were moving, he was safe, that was all he needed to know. He would decide to join his brother eventually, but for now, he found himself moving along the beach slowly with his tail swaying lightly behind him. The sun was high in the sky, making him open his mouth to pant softly as he walked. The summer sun was hot, and though he knew the water was a bit chilly, he half debated swimming just to cool off his dark coat.
