As summer began coming to a close, the weather was getting steadily cooler in the north yet Kiara found it oddly satisfying. There was just something about the cooler weather and the slight breezes that rustled through the land that made her feel more like a part of nature than she usually did. It was calming and it was by far her favorite weather. As she wound her way farther and farther down the hills of their territory, she couldn’t help but wonder what her mother was doing. Unfortunately, she had not spent as much time with either of her parents since the start of Eden as she would have wanted to but she promised herself that she would change that fact.
Finally, she reached her destination and, before she had even looked around, she stretched her head up high and let out a loud howl that she hoped would reach the ears of her mother. There was little she would enjoy more in that moment than being with Nova and spending the day by her side. She longed to play with her, to learn from her, and to remain by her side. But, her curiosity often led to her wondering off which made that almost impossible. Yet, she promised herself again that she would work on changing that.
Only after the call had been sent did she set off to explore the new area that she had found. It was colder there than in the rest of the land and she could already tell that it may easily become her favorite spot. It was isolated and the nature was gorgeous with a stunning lake and tall pine trees. It was peaceful and she felt greatly in touch with the Great Spirit. With careful steps, she walked up to edge of the water and looked down into her reflection. She sighed when she saw her purple eyes and wished that it would be revealed to her why she was gifted with them. If she was truly meant to have a great destiny or play an important role in a bigger picture, she wished she could know about it.
