It was early morning and the sun was a bright beacon in the sky, shining down on the ground below and being reflected back off of the sand dunes. Hidden beneath one of the sparse trees was a relatively dark female, aside from the tan, cream, and red points streaked through her pelt. She was panting delicately due to the heat and her eyes refrained from staring out into the expanse of the land. However when one would be able to catch a quick glimpse of her eyes they would be simply astonished by the coloring; clear silver. Her silver optics were a gorgeous contrast among her dark pelt and framed her face beautifully, though she did not really know what beauty was. Her life had consisted of mostly dark times and the two year old still had much to learn on her own. It had not been very long since she had escaped her destructive past, and even now she was still dealing with the many repercussions. She had been forced to wait until late evening until she could do any of her traveling, which made her a little worrisome considering how much space she wanted to put between herself and her old life. Odara did not want to stay in one spot but she simply did not have a choice in the matter. The sunlight was so bright that it was painful for her to even look out across the sand dunes, which was frustrating but something that she would have to deal with. There had been an awful lot of ruckus in these lands since she had come here. The different scents were strange to her but there were plenty both male and female. She was smart enough to depict what scent markers were and she tried to steer clear of them, though sometimes it was impossible to stay completely away from them. Even now she could sense the strange scents that lingered in this territory and it made her slightly uneasy but she was not afraid. Although she was of lighter body weight she was a good bit stockier then most average females, and wouldn't hesitate in protecting herself if need be. However Odara did not want things to take such a path considering she couldn't see worth a lick right now.
Odara rested her head on her petite fore-paws, allowing herself to relax for a bit. There was no sense in getting herself worked up when she knew there was no way that she would be moving anytime soon. So instead she decided that a nap would be best and by the time she would awaken it would hopefully be a bit darker out. So despite her small anxieties she closed her eyes and let herself drift off to sleep, though her red tipped auditories remained perked while she drifted. It seemed that a good bit of time had passed before she finally opened her eyes again and when she did she did not receive an automatic spark of pain. It was dark enough out that she could see comfortably and in fact it was so dark that you could hardly see a few feet in front of you. But Odara had absolutely no problems seeing and she eagerly stood up off the ground. She shook her pelt briefly, ridding it of all dirt and dander as she made her way away from her resting place. She walked at a decent pace, rising and falling with the sand dunes as she moved. She had no distinct destination in mind, all she knew was that she needed to keep moving to keep enough distance between herself and her past. It was while she was briefly distracted with those thoughts that she bumped smack dab right into someone or something. She yelped briefly before bolting backwards, her eyes narrowing as she stared at whatever she had just collided with. It was while she was backpedaling that she noticed that it was in fact another wolf and a very large one at that. For a moment she remained frozen, her tail tucked between her legs. Her auds flattened against her skull and her eyes did not move from the stranger's face. One inhale of the air around her confirmed that the stranger was a male and it was no secret that he was incredibly larger then her small stature. She wasn't sure how to react, she hadn't had much interaction with other wolves and her first interaction was due to her colliding with him. She continued to stare, unable to speak or move. She was not afraid just simply puzzled as to what she should do next.
