The night was dark, darker than usual as the new moon offered no light at all. The wind was howling, whispering haunting tones through the trees. Their was a sharp coldness to the night air and as a whole, the scene seemed like something out of a nightmare. It was a scary, intimidating, and it matched the personality of the wolf who was stalking through it. The black colored wolf blended in perfectly without the moon's light and she made sure her steps remained silent. She was coming closer to a pack's territory but she wasn't slowing down.
She had recieved no response to the Howl She offered Descai and she was not going to just wait around hoping someone would show up. Instead, she turned directions to move further south and went to her second plan. She had heard rumors ever since she had attacked a pathetic she wolf whose name she didn't care to remember that the alpha of Kairos was looking for her. Apparently, it was his sister whom she attacked and he wanted revenge. Well, tonight would be the night he got what he wanted. Her blood lust was running strong and she craved, needed, the taste of flesh and the crimson treasure within.
As she came closer to Kairos border, deep snarls could be heard from within her chest. She was itching for this fight, itching to sink her teeth into Goliath's neck. He would soon find out why people who seeked revenge on her always failed. She didn't care about taking Kairos, though if she did, she wouldn't complain either. But, she was ready to end the alpha and his pathetic sister. Two less nuisances in the world, taken care of by her. Finally, she could see the border she had been searching for in the distance and she quickened her pace, wanting to hury and get on with the fight.
Finally, she had reached the border and a smug smirk spread across her muzzle. She could smell the strong scents warning others to stay out. Yet, it didn't slow her down one bit. Crouched down, she stalked forward past the border and further into the territory. She was tempted to howl but decided not to as it would alert the pack to her presence and not just the alpha. She would have to find Goliath on her own without being spotted. Looking around, no one seemed to be around but, she knew the alpha wouldn't leave fresh territory with no one to watch it. Crouching down behind shrubbery she snarled, "Show yourself coward," hoping someone would show up, if she was lucky, it would be Goliath.
