It was early, and though the sun had yet to rise slowly above the horizon, the form of a dark male wolf was already up and moving. It had been days since he had been reunited with his sister, Messoria, and though he wanted to see her again so much that he debated trespassing into the territory of the largest pack on the island, he knew it would be nothing but idiocy to even attempt such a thing. Instead of hovering about the pack's borders and hoping for a glimpse of his sister - which was something that he imagined a desperate and lonely wolf that was definitely not himself doing - he had been wandering about the island while not straying too far from the area he had told Messoria he would be in. She had promised to introduce him to his nieces, and though he knew that he had nephews as well, he doubted he would be meeting them any time soon. From the little that he knew about Kairos, they valued large males and their loyalty to the pack, therefore a nephew of his would likely never waste their time leaving the pack's territory to meet their likely much smaller uncle.
He had debated joining the pack his sister was a part of a couple of times, but on closer inspection of their way of life, it was easy to tell that he would never fit into Kairos. With a slow stretch and a lazy yawn, the male continued to walk forward and in the direction of the Aleisul Crossing. The sound of water had been growing stronger and stronger as the male headed in the direction of the coast, but not towards the island he knew to be the main territory of Kairos. The Ina'mos was not a place he had ever visited, for if the swim over did not end his life, there was no doubt that the wolves who called it home would do it instead. His dark paws moved slowly in the direction of the waves, and though his ears twitched slightly at the rhythmic crashes the liquid made against the rocks of the crossing, his eyes were focused on the small land mass in front of him.
He had never been to this part of the island before, though he had heard that it housed another pack entirely and a collection of creatures that he had never heard of. Perhaps he could explore a portion of it before heading back to the place he had told his sister he would be waiting, but he knew that Kairos had claimed some territory here as well. Either way he went, he was not straying too far from his sister's pack. Halfway across the clearing, as his eyes strained to see the land before him, the sun began to slowly peak above the horizon. He paused for a moment, looking out over the water and watching the dark colors of the sky slowly take on lighter and softer hues. It truly was a beautiful sight, but one the male knew he would likely never truly appreciate. He saw no reason to simply stand and stare at the sky, but without the light that was still not illuminating his path, he could potentially find the edge of the crossing by accident and land in the waters crashing against the rocks around him.

Notes: Sorry this is horrible, apparently I'm very easily distracted and focusing is very difficult for me right now
