It had been like a distant memory, the frightening sensations of water crashing around her carrier. One minute she had been on her way towards meeting more two-leggers- more humans that were utterly and completely fascinated by her; and the next she was being tossed overboard to the restless ocean. Everything that she had once known was gone- everything that had made her life comfortable was gone. But it was almost as if everything were meant to happen that way. Despite being completely uprooted from all that she knew in life, Freya was able to connect with someone of her kind. An actual wolf. And just the thought of her mate made her heart soar with happiness. Of course their type of relationship wasn't necessarily seen as ideal. Typically females did not connect with other females but Freya felt like she had known her mate for years. They had bonded on some other level that she had never bonded with anyone else before. She was head over heels in love with this female, and didn't matter that they were the same sex. She was happy and happiness was all that mattered. Freya rolled over off of her side then, her crystal blue occuli glancing over at her slumbering partner before she rose off of the ground. Freya was no small wolf by any means and even for a female she held decent size to her. Her body was in top condition aside from one small area- the tip of her left ear. Even now the thing was still bloody sensitive. She had tried many different herbs to help it heal quicker, some salves working better then others but even now the tissue was still extremely sensitive. It was enough to cause a mild migraine from the second she woke up to the second she would fall asleep and today Freya just did not want to deal with it. So with that in mind she left her mate to begin her search for a very specific pain killer.
Her paws were sure as she padded through the forest, her mind's eye showing her the light yellow flowers that she needed to crush in order to create a paste. She continued forward, part of her wondering if she would even find it in this area but she knew that nothing would meet a try but a failure. Even now Freya was in denial. Denial of everything that had happened. The fact that she had found someone that would accept her in her entirety was unbelievable, but the fact that she found a pack that would do the same was astounding. She still had yet to meet her alpha aside from Kiva, but Kiva had assured her that she would love Eidus. With the way that Kiva had described him Freya was almost certain that she would be comfortable around him. She certainly would remain open-minded and honest with the brute when their meeting time would come, but for now she focused on finding some agrimony. It seemed that she had been at it for hours, and soon she became frustrated. Whaur th' hell is it!? She bellowed after another hour of useless searching. Finally she plopped her hindquarters down on the ground, hanging her head and closing her eyes for a moment. By now the sun was high in the sky and the warmth of it's rays shone down on her which only made her headache worse. She wanted to lie somewhere cool and dark, but what she absolutely needed was that agrimony. She had almost been certain that it would be here, but alas she had searched to no avail. Ah thought fur sure it wid be 'ere.. She spoke to herself before finally lowering herself completely to the ground. For now she would rest her eyes for a moment and then she would be back at it- she needed that medicine otherwise she definitely wouldn't be able to heal properly.
And if you're still breathing
