The day was bright and colorful and the daylight fell upon the land as a warm blanket, giving life to everything that it touched. It was on a beautiful Tuesday, February 12th, that a heavily pregnant female gave birth to two healthy pups in a beautiful valley in Mexico. She named the girl Tuesday, like the day she was born in, and the boy she called Oscar, like his father and her mate. However, the femme, named María, was alone that morning, because her mate was hunting for them. Once he returned, he saw with delight in his eyes the product of their love and sacrifice. It was in this type of family that Tuesday was born into, and she grew up healthy, strong and loved by the ones she called Mom and Dad. Oscar, Tuesday’s brother, was always the most reserved of them all, almost always in a different tune than the rest of his family. Tuesday always tried to reach out to him and ask about what was wrong with him, but no one had managed to get through him and to get him to talk. He just seemed more and more distant as the days passed by, and Tuesday grew more and more worried about him.
Tuesday was becoming stronger and more agile, and her parents couldn’t be more proud of her. But her brother seemed sadder and thinner as the moments passed and no one could not understand why. One day, as their parents were out hunting, six-month-old Tuesday tried to play with her brother, but all he did was start to hyperventilate and tremble, making Tuesday run to her parents for help. When she came back, her brother was in the ground, writhing and shaking in a seizure. The family was devastated, and they started to demand answers from Oscar once he had calmed down. The pup told them that he had been feeling really sick since he was just a pup, and he didn’t want to burden them, since they always seemed happy.
Herb after herb, the small pup began to feel better about his body and about himself until Oscar made a full recovery. Tuesday and Oscar were inseparable, until one day, Tuesday felt a strong sting on her back leg. Looking back, she saw a dart, and she saw that someone had darted all of her family, but before she could do anything, she blacked out, only to wake up hours later in a dark, wooden cage. She was confused, terrified and lost. Tuesday began to call out to her family, calling them by name, hoping that they would answer, but only heard back from her mother, since everyone else was knocked out. However, she didn’t know that next to her, the huge cage was housing a tiger that was also terrified of what was going on. Tuesday’s frantic screams made the tiger scream and roar in rage, biting her through the cage and ripping a bit of her ear off. Tuesday screamed in agony and retreated to the opposite part of her cage, slowly starting to lose hope of ever finding her family again. She felt herself rock back and forth and she could hear the roar of the waves outside, as the heavy rain began to pour over the ship they were in.
As the hours passed by, Tuesday's optimism was truly tested with fire. She tried to keep holding on to her hope, but the frantic screams and despair were making her have second thoughts about herself. Was she ever going to see her family again? Where were they taking them? Why wasn't her brother and father responding? Were they okay? Maybe they had not woken up yet. Things like these were the questions that circled her mind for the entirety of the trip, and she understood that life was testing her boundless optimism. She was not going to give up that easily. Not yet.The animals around her were crazy and just as confused as she was, and the heavy atmosphere that surrounded them was starting to weigh down on her. She heard voices talking, and she heard them talk about a zoo in India, and that they had to make a stop on Africa. These places were foreign for her, so she stood up and tried to look around and listen to the voices around her. She began to speak to her mother and to her family once they had woken up, telling them that she loved them, and that no matter what happened, she would find them and be with them again.
A strong movement interrupted her and everything around her, and for a moment, everything was in slow motion. Everything was happening really quickly, so she did not notice the cage of the tiger falling on top of her wooden cage and breaking it, setting her free. She escaped her prison, and went to find her family. Once she found them, she tried desperately to free them, but she had no idea how. Tears ran down from their eyes as she yelled that she loved them, not wanting to let go, not wanting to ever lose them and hoping to see them again, but fate was a cruel mistress that fateful night. The ship began to sink, and as the water entered into the vessel, Tuesday managed to find a way out and swam to the surface of the water. As she swam through the storm and through the high waves, she saw in the distance something shaped like an island. After what seemed like an eternity, she arrived—weak, terrified, cold and alone. She began to replay the events in her mind, and all she did in that moment was cry and pass out on the shores of the foreign but welcoming sands. Two weeks later, she has managed to survive, but the wounds of her past still haunted her deeply. And now, at two years of age, she now tries to help everyone overcome whatever obstacles life throws at their way. She found a reason to smile in the fact that she told her family that she loved them, even if it was in their last minute. She believes that her family is with her every time, guiding her through her life, and because of that, she thinks she is actually never alone. But she is thankful that she made it out alive, and now she uses her life as an example that no matter how bleak life may be, there is always hope. Life always goes on.
She still cries for them, and she still holds them dear in her heart, and misses them terribly. But her optimism makes her a survivor, and she strives to make others realize that they have to make every moment count, because we don't know what tomorrow brings. It is why she usually lives in the moment.
Personality: Tuesday is a really laid-back wolf, filled with a never-dying playfulness that has helped her get through any obstacle she has encountered in the past. She is honest, hopeful and flirtatious, but all of this is found once she gets over her incurable shyness. Tuesday is quiet most of the time, but her eyes are filled with a spark that cannot be controlled. She is extremely empathetic, and she does anything she can to help someone in need. She literally cannot see anyone sad, that it sends her in an inner frenzy to make them smile. She will try to get to the bottom of why they are sad, and try to give them advice and cheer them up. She loves everyone and sees their value, no matter how big or small, how good or how bad they may seem to be. She always tries to look at the bright side of things, and she always tries to inspire others into becoming a better wolf. She is intense, filled with love and passion, determination and hope. Even if she went through a rather hard past, her strength always relied on seeing the bright light coming through the darkness of the storms, and she strives to help others see the light as well—and, not only see it, but reach it, and to become that light for others to see in the dark.Even if she seems to be rather outgoing and extroverted in nature, she is anything but. She enjoys the company of those who she holds dear, even if she does not mind the company of any wolf that may want to be in her presence. As surprising as it may seem, Tuesday is actually shy when it comes to interacting with others. She hates short, hollow, dry conversations that lead to nowhere and make her anxious, but loves deep conversations about the complexities of life. She is extremely intelligent, and she can pick up on body language rather fast, reading others as if they were an open book, but she feels uncomfortable when others see right through her. It makes her feel vulnerable. She is sometimes too involved in the lives of others to focus on her own. She often loses her patience, and she forgets that the best things in life take time. Tuesday is also very creative and imaginative, and she has a hard time understanding simple concepts and easily understands complex ones. She is visual and filled with energy, even if she has to retreat sometimes to charge up her batteries. She has an uncanny ability to figure out what others are thinking just by looking at their eyes.
Tuesday is the embodiment of hope and optimism. She believes that the key to happiness is to live, forgive and to smile, and she strives to live by it day by day. When it comes to romance, she loves without measure, and she turns into the definition of passion and romance. She becomes a pillar of strength for her significant other, and he will find a treasure in her boundless love. Tuesday is simple when it comes to romance and love, but her feelings can be compared to an ocean—you never know when it ends. You just know it’s huge.
All in all, Tuesday desires to be the light in a world she always sees filled with darkness. She is someone who wants to see the world change, even if it is one smile at a time.
