It was all over, or at least it would be soon. There was one more task that the young male had to finish. He had to take his egg across the waters to the Ina'mos and present it to Sabaoth. His task in finding and retrieving the egg had been a rather difficult one, but not entirely impossible. The current task, however, seemed like it would never end, like it would never actually happen. But Olympus was determined. He inhaled deeply, stretching his muscles slowly and looking down at the egg that he had so carefully placed on the shore he stood upon. Finally, as if he knew there was no more time to waste, he lowered his head pick up his prize. It took a considerable amount of effort to pick it up without breaking it, and he was forced to extend his tongue slightly out of his mouth to wrap around it in order to keep it from falling out into the water.
Slowly he stepped towards the liquid, pinning his ears back and narrowing his eyes as the waves crashed against the rocks and poured over his enormous form. He was fully grown now, and more than capable of succeeding here today. Then it began, the most torturous swim of his entire life. But he would not give up, even as he was forced under the waves for several minutes and struggled to keep the egg firmly held within his jaws without breaking it. Minutes felt like hours as he swam, but each breath that he could catch gave him strength, and after what felt like a lifetime, he made it to the opposite shore. Slowly he dragged himself onto the sand of the Ina'mos, panting softly with the egg in his mouth as he searched for the one wolf he wished to present his egg to. The beach was currently deserted, and though he wished for nothing more than a warm bed and a fresh meal, he knew that he would first need to present his egg to a warrior of Kairos.
He moved further onto the beach, depositing his egg gently on the ground at his paws and then sat down slowly. His nose then tilted towards the sky, jaws parting and eyes closing as he called out to the one adult male that he had gotten to know and respect. Sabaoth. Though he would have preferred to present his egg to his own father, the previous General of Kairos, Titan had disappeared and there was no hope of his return, ever. So Olympus had leaned upon Sabaoth, a wolf that had almost always been around and had taken over his father's position in the pack. As his howl completed, he lowered his head and began to pant, fur dripping and muscles exhausted as he waited for the gods to decide his fate and future.
