She could not force herself to stay even a moment longer. She had to get herself out of Valyn for good, and today was the day she would do it. She moved slowly, with no concern about her pack mates, with her paws carrying her in the direction of the Geysers. She had been here multiple times before, as a helpless pup, and as a more bold and foolish pup. This was not only the place of her first outing from the pack territory, but also where she had lost her tail to Lilith from Kairos. But today she returned stronger, bolder, and stronger. Her tail might have still been missing, but she was not about to sit around wishing for it to grow back.
She was not an idiot, nor was she a pathetic and weak female that needed to spend her life condemning the lives of males just because of their gender. No, so many females had taken on the view of Valyn because they thought females were superior, but many of them were weaker and more feeble minded than the males that they claimed were beneath them. It was sick and pathetic, and though she had grown up within the pack, she did not uphold their values. Instead, she turned her back on them and struck out on her own. And she was never going to return. Perhaps she would have cared if she had known that the wolves of Kairos were on their way to take the territory of Valyn at that very moment, but she knew that she would not mind at all. Hell, if they were to pass her on her walk from her mother's pack, she would not have even slowed her pace to watch them.
Her life in the female dominated pack of Valyn was over, forever. She was a lone wolf now, without a destination and without a future. At least not one that she currently cared about. No, she simply wanted to free herself from the foolish and feminist thinking of her former pack, and as she succeeded, she could feel the freedom and joy swelling in her chest. For now she just walked, heading through the geysers and inhaling the moist air that surrounded her. Here she was not a pack wolf, she was not a pup, but a full grown, self-sufficient adult. She would not bend to another's will again, at least not until she decided that they were worth her time and energy. For now, however, no one met her description of worthy, therefore she would remain alone.
