Her tail thumped on the ground at such a tempo she wondered in the back of her mind of the creatures in the ground were curious as to what was going on up here. But she was happy, so happy he called her a friend. As he approached, she simply watched him knowing he wouldn't hurt her yet still was surprised when he actually touched her. At first she sat frozen, not really sure what she should do right now. No one ever nuzzled her but her mother and full siblings, but the sweet gesture filled the little girls heart so it felt like it would burst. Butting her head gently against him, she returned the sentiment as her tail still drummed it's happy tune on the ground. A grin plastered to her face as she breathed in his scent, she wanted to remember him always. Maybe she could have him as her adopted brother or something. Time would tell, but for now she was ecstatic to call him her friend.
When he said he would go seek out his other friend, she felt torn. She didn't want him to go so soon but she also understood that relationships needed attention or else they would disappear. Tragic reality really but the little wolfling tried to look on the positive side and part ways on a good note. "I'm s-sure she w-will be happy t-to see you ag-again." She said confidently, "M-maybe I c-can meet her one d-day." If she was friends with Aurik she had to be nice too right?
"I will, p-p-promise! And y-you s-stay sweet too, A-Aurik." She bid kindly and then stayed put to watch him make his journey across the waters and to his other friend. She had exploring to do, a rare treat to go out on her own even with her age being an acceptable one for galavanting around. There were still rules...in that case she decided she would only stay out for a little bit longer or else Mother might start to worry if she found her little girl missing. Taking a deep breath, the flower child stood and walked off on her own taking in the simply joys offered her and ever so happy she finally had a friend.
