Quinn had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to ditch her younger brother and thankfully after dropping him with their parents she had had that chance. He had been nothing but a hindrance to the young wolf which had been extremely irritating to her. But every family had it's dead beats, right? It was then that for a single second she thought of her previous mate and the guilt came flooding back to her. She remembered all of the unnecessary pain she had put him through, and the thought made her grin for a moment. Quinn wasn't necessarily the normal female that she appeared to be- on the outside she appeared sweet and innocent but on the inside lurked a darker more manic side to her. Her paws led her forward, her long appendages covering the ground rather quickly. She had been surveying the different packs for a few days now and the one that had peaked her interest had been Kairos. She had heard of a recent overtake of yet another territory and that was interesting to her. She had never seen a pack as large or independent and it made her want to be a part of it. Not to mention the immense amount of power that they had. Quinn needed to be a part of that pack and she would do just about anything to get into their ranks. Her sea green eyes glanced around her as she made her way across the coral reefs. She could see fish darting beneath the surface of the water, their colors and shape varying. For a brief moment her stomach growled reminding her that she hadn't ate in ages but she ignored it for now. She could always eat later, right now her sights were set on a bigger prize.
The sun was shining down on her as she pulled her haunches down behind her to sit. She lowered her muzzle to her fore appendages and began to groom her fur, she wouldn't have herself looking dirty and scroungy before being accepted into her potential home. When she finally felt like she was of perfect appearance she lifted her head, her eyes glancing around her before she tipped her muzzle back to let out a loud howl. Her vocals were angelic, calling across the land to any nearby wolf that could hear her. When her song was over she stood and sauntered forward, her hips swaying slightly. Quinn knew that right now was a crazy time with the females being in heat and all, but luckily she was not one of those females. Quinn was still too young to come into heat just yet which meant no babies for her which was fine and dandy. She made her way further into the unfamiliar territory, her nasal passages flaring ever so slightly. She was surprised that she hadn't encountered anyone yet considering the size of Kairos but she wouldn't think so soon. Quinn knew that eventually someone would find her and she would either be accepted or turned away. She certainly hoped she wouldn't be ignored otherwise that might just spark her awful little temper and no one wanted to see that today.

The General had been departing from the sandy shores when he’d first noticed the shape of another washing ashore, his interest piqued if only for the well-being of his own pack. Concealed by the trees, he’d stood and observed, wondering if she was foolish enough to trespass upon Ina’mos as a spy, or if she’d come to join their ranks. There was precious few other options, for the swim required to touch the shores of Ina’mos was treacherous and long, not commonly suffered by accident alone. She knew of Kairos, he assumed, and so there could be only one of two reasons why she had come.
For a while, she did not call out, instead busying herself with cleaning her pelt and studying her surroundings. The wind had carried her scent to him, entirely unfamiliar and not tinged with the heady scent of a femme in heat as many others were; this suggested that she was young, too young to have reached her season, and therefore a bit of a mystery. She was small, as many of the she-wolves who sought out Kairos tended to be. When at last she tipped her head back and howled, Sabaoth waited until the noise had just began to die off before he stepped into view. His arrival was swift enough to suggest to the femme that he had been there for some time, and the General made no move to conceal as much as he moved down the shore towards her, towering well above her as he came to a halt within speaking distance. For a moment he did not speak, his gaze instead taking note of her, the pale streaked fur and sea green eyes noted immediately. And then at last his muzzle parted, his low, rough voice dripping from his maw.
”I am Sabaoth, General of Kairos,” he informed her, a routine greeting that he’d found himself repeating time after time. There was nothing welcoming in his tone, and while he was not deliberating threatening, he knew he did not have to be; his size alone was enough to hint at his ferocity, and coupled with the gruesome scars that marred his visage, he knew that he was no sight for sore eyes. Instead Sabaoth had always reveled in his markedly imposing appearance; those he encountered were less likely to underestimate a hulking scarred brute, after all.
”What is your name, and why have you come to Ina’mos?” He fell silent after the question had been posed, his icy gaze never leaving hers as he waited. Her explanation would need to be satisfying – otherwise he would have no reason to think she had any good intentions. Things were changing in Kairos with Typhon’s victory over Valyn and rise to power; at the moment, Sabaoth would not risk anything destroying the delicate balance that they were still finding.
She could feel eyes on her, somewhere out there they were watching. Well I might as well look glamorous for my debut. She thought to herself and proceeded to finish her grooming, working on the fine hairs of her chest as she sat in the sunlight and waited. It didn't take long however for the scarred brute to make his way towards her. His strides were long and purposeful, his aurora a dominant one. Quinn arched an invisible brow at the brute as he closed the distance between them. I'd like to take him for a ride. Harleyquinn's voice oozed into her head and she frowned slightly to herself, perhaps if he was a bit younger. No one would easily guess from the outside that Quinn was fighting an inner battle. Harleyquinn hadn't made her arrival until after she had murdered her first mate. Perhaps it was because the realization of killing another had truly shook her core, or maybe she had been crazy all along and just never realized it. You wouldn't have come this far without me baby. She rolled her eyes at the words before focusing on the stranger, her head cocking delicately to the side as he finally halted before her. I am Sabaoth, General of Kairos. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance Sabaoth. Her words were calm as she spoke them, her sea green eyes glistening with interest. She tipped her muzzle upward a bit to get a better view of him considering he was so damn tall, And their all like that too I've heard. Harley murmured from the back of her mind.
Always putting your two cents in lemme do my work. I'm talking to him NOT you. What is your name, and why have you come to Ina'mos? She didn't move just returned his stare before speaking in response to his question. My name is Quinn. I have come to Ina'mos to seek entrance into your ranks. It was short and to the point but she still did not falter, did not break eye contact with the scarred general. I have many skill sets that I can offer to Kairos. Quinn did not speak of those skills however, some of her had to remain a mystery. If she told him she was a class act in manipulation he would look at her and assume she was here to sneak her way in which wasn't true at all. I've heard of the incredible things Kairos has accomplished. I seek to be a part of this. Simple as that. She straightened her posture then, her eyes blinking gently as she waited for a response. She watched him as he watched her, sizing her up probably. This was why she had been sure to look her best but it wasn't necessarily the looks that mattered they were just a perk. It was the brains that he was probably focused on and she had plenty of those. She had spent plenty of time analyzing others, seeing what made them go boom. She loved fucking with others but today wasn't one of those days which was unfortunately the reason why Harleyquinn was so talkative. Instead she focused on being on her best behavior- she wanted to have a new home by the end of today.

”It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance Sabaoth. My name is Quinn. I have come to Ina'mos to seek entrance into your ranks. I have many skill sets that I can offer to Kairos.”
For a brief moment after the fae – Quinn – spoke, Sabaoth was silent, watching her. When it became clear that she did not intend to elaborate on what her skill sets involved, Sabaoth nearly laughed and turned away to leave her there on the shores. And yet he did not, instead continuing to pin her with his sharp gaze, offering nothing more than a flat stare and furrowed brows. Something about her stance, straight and tall, suggested pride – something that Kairos had an abundance of. And rightfully so; they were an Empire, revered, their name known by many and unfamiliar to few. And yet pride alone would not earn the femme a place within their ranks.
”I've heard of the incredible things Kairos has accomplished. I seek to be a part of this. Simple as that.”
Now, Sabaoth did laugh, the sound deep and grating as he shook his head just slightly. ”There is nothing simple about it, girl,” he rasped when his chuckles had been carried away by the wind. ”But your courage is certainly commendable.” Now he was silent once more, though this time with appraisal, his eyes flicking towards the forest behind him as he thought. Quinn had survived the swim to Kairos, and that alone made Sabaoth consider her desire for acceptance solely because of her size. She would not be the only one to have achieved this; many femmes upon Kairos were dainty and delicate, and yet still they’d flocked to Ina’mos. It was as if Kairos called to those brave and strong enough to listen, until finally they washed up onto the sands, heaving and exhausted but still somehow so determined.
”Since you have been so very secretive concerning your skills, I do hope for your sake that they involve the ability to catch prey, for I am appointing you to the position of hunter.” He did not give her room to negotiate, not even allowing a moment for interjection as he continued. ”It is not a position to be taken lightly; Kairos is very large, and so there are many mouths to feed. Do your part. Should you desire another position, you will work towards it, and prove your dedication by excelling in your current role.”
Still he did not look away from her, searching for even the slightest bit of hesitation or disdain. The seconds ticked by, a gull’s cry echoing around them, the lapping of the waves an ever-present noise in the background. And then, at last, Sabaoth gestured with his muzzle towards the rest of Ina’mos, a place that would now be considered Quinn’s home. ”Welcome, Quinn, to Kairos.”
