This place, the lilac-eyed femme thought as she streaked across the plains, is beautiful. Even in the winter there was something so very lovely about the prairie, the snow that blanketed the land soft and almost gentle. Forward she went, nose sniffing at the air, searching for the borders of the pack that she’d heard resided here. In her time traveling across the island, she’d learned many things: that there a pack called Kairos who was seemingly insatiable and under new rule, two new packs that had risen and formed, and one pack who’d formed with another, now lead by a powerful ebony-and-gold femme who had intrigued Evani. She was meticulous in her gathering of knowledge, ensuring that whichever pack she sought would truly be the right one for her. And so it was that her tiny paws brought her to Kamari.
She stopped as soon as she caught wind of the border, dropping the fat hare she’d carried in her jaws before tilting her cream muzzle skywards as she immediately called for the alphess, her vocals clear and lovely before tapering off into silence. She would not allow herself to hesitate – not now, when at last she’d decided upon a path for herself. After a moment she lowered her rump to the ground just over the border, careful not to trespass. She did not know very much of the Valyn alphess yet, but even still, Evani’s common sense urged her to stay firmly planted upon unclaimed territory.
As she waited, her gaze fell upon the hare. It was a good size when one considered the snow that had plagued the mainland as of late, and admittedly Evani was proud of it. She was no skilled huntress – her knowledge resided firmly in healing – but she’d thought that it would be nice to come with an offering to whoever greeted her here today. It was still warm as she nudged it closer to the border, resisting her urge to bite into the kill. Sitting up primly, she turned her gaze to the horizon, waiting with all of the patience her diminutive form had to offer – though admittedly the fae was excited. It had been many moons since she’d been in the company of another, and now there was the possibility of a pack, a family, laud before her once more. A tiny smile pulled at her maw at the very thought.
