[attr="class","pltxt"] Valeria could not be certain, but if she were to guess, her words were bringing at least a little bit of peace to her younger sister. It was good to see that another of her siblings was not ready to hunt her down and chase her to the borders. While she had hoped things would go better with the youngest of their siblings, she could not force anyone to like her. It helped that, although it was brief, both she and Saphira had some history together. She was not this vicious unknown in the world to the white and gold femme. She was someone who had been around in her youth that had simply returned home at last.
As Saphira inquired about ranks, Valeria turned a curious eye to the younger wolf. "I have not thought too much into the ranks of Descai transitioning into Valyn," she admitted casually. "Until Father is gone, he is acting as somewhat of a Beta to the pack... A Prince of the pack. Naturally our brothers will be Templars for the pack, but I have not thought far into what you might like to do. I wish I knew you better... When you were younger, you were such a free spirit," she remarked quietly, a gentle smile spreading across her face once more. It was good to be able to reminisce about her youth without pain and anger distorting it. Thinking back, there were many good memories in her youth that she had neglected to think about for many years. Being back here, and being with Saphira and Zofia all in one place was a blast from the past.
"What do you enjoy doing, Saphira? I want to make sure you are happy, first and foremost," she explained. In the old Valyn, she had time to learn more about her new sisters before assigning them ranks. But this was an old sister... a birth sister. The rules were different now, and if it meant maintaining the balance between Valyn and Descai, she would do whatever was necessary. They were all learning together, and even if it took a few adjustments to get it right, Val was sincere in her desire to make sure that the pack was happy with the positions they were given. "And as for the plans for us, I don't swing that way," she retorted with a smirk and a wink. "Though in all seriousness, I hope we can build a relationship again. I know I have been gone for a long time, but you are the one most of all that I know and can see in relation to the future. Your brothers... our brothers," she corrected herself, "they were not here when I was young. I do not know them the way you do, and I truly believe they will listen between you and Pharaoh. I had a good conversation with him as well, and I do hope that time will bring us all closer together."
