There have been several complaints and issues brought up in the relation to the tagging of posts mature in nature. As such we (the staff) have decided to clarify somethings about these. These are the following rules for tagging posts:
1. All posts containing mature content of ANY sort (if you are unsure if its going to get to that point then you MUST STILL TAG) must be tagged appropriately and clearly in the thread title.
2. We ask that all mature tags be straight forward and make sense Ex: Dus Gets Angry [Mature]
3. In the first post of the thread please explain any mature tagging. Ex: Language, Sexual, Violence etc.
4. This is not an optional thing. Any one found to be breaking these rules in their threads WILL be warned and punished as necessary.
Now onto other matters involving this. We as a site are transitioning in the near future over to a new site paid for by the members in staff. This move is to give us unlimited creative freedom (within federal laws as they pertain to your country) on the site. This means there will be sex violence and swearing. There may also be threads that touch on subjects of delicate nature such as cannibalism, rape, and other such things. This will be up to the people in the threads playing the characters as to what they are comfortable with. So long as they are tagged correctly that is entirely up to them. Which means if for whatever reason you stumble across a thread (such as looking at recent replied/most replied post lists) and it contains things that bother you, then move along. You do not have the right to be insulted or complain so long as its tagged correctly.
That being said the move and the tag system is in place to allow us as a family, to have the freedom to be as creative as we want. This means both innocent as well as mature based ideas. If you do not like the more mature themes there will be plenty of threads that will not be mature. However the people who enjoy the mature themes have every right to enjoy their freedom as well.
We are a family here and as such there is bound to be issues and problems which arise from time to time. You all are always welcome to message any of the admin and staff at any times with questions or concerns. We are here to help the family we already dearly care about continue to grow and flourish. I also ask that you remember we are people as well though. We are here doing this for no payment other than happiness of seeing you all enjoy the site and enjoying it ourselves. Please do not get angry at us nor disrespect us because of some slight you believe occurred or something you saw which bothered you. We are people with feelings (most of us at least) and have lives. We may be busy but we WILL answer any questions and approach all concerns with an open mind and level-headedness.
So please feel free to bookmark these rules and remember them because these are not optional. We do not want to have to warn or punish people but we will to maintain the peace of the site and an environment where all players of different tastes can enjoy themselves.
Fair winds and following seas,
Dus
