History: Yahvi didn't have the strongest start to her life. Yahvi was born with the name Kalaq. Her parents were loners who met at the right place at the right time. She never met her father and her mother abandoned her shortly after she was weaned from milk for reasons still unknown. Now, if fate hadn't been so kind Yahvi's life would have been cut dramatically short. However, thanks to a small traveling pack that found her huddling behind some bushes on Anikira's soil and starving to death, she was granted life. This might be fate or miraculous coincidence but one of the females had just lost a litter of pups. They died shortly after birth but the mother had adopted Yahvi, seeing it as a sign from above. The female had renamed her Yahvi to signal a new start to life and to give her a new identity.
This particular pack was quite barbaric in nature. Everyone earned their places through fighting and war. Appearance and stature were everything. Reputation was of the upmost importance. Her adoptive mother raised her in believing that this was the right way of life. This way determined who was the fittest and the fittest should survive. It all made sense to the young pup. Why should a weak wolf be given status over a healthy, strong one? This way of life was harsh and unforgiving, much like the alpha himself but Yahvi knew no other way. She had to fight for everything that she wanted, including food and water. The strongest wolves got the most food and the weakest got whatever was left. Whoever won in battle was given first choice at meal time.
Yahvi didn't have a teacher to show her how to fight because no one in the pack did. Everyone had to learn on their own. When Yahvi first had to begin fighting she was beaten miserably by the other wolves around her age. They scared her body and broke her confidence. Her adoptive mother always cleaned her wounds and told her to just fight harder. This was not an easy task. She didn't know where to start to improve herself. As a pup, this was a harsh reality check that she needed to rely on herself because no one else could fight for her and get her food. For a while she watched the males of the pack fight. She was trying to learn some of their technique. This failed. The males defeated her with their techniques because they didn't fit her. This was a frustrating time in Yahvi's life because she had to win in battle to eat well and she had to eat well to win in battle. It was a viscous circle that just kept going around and around and around.
As she grew older and bigger however, the tides began to change. She was able to keep up with the males her age and be a real competitor whereas before they would laugh at her whenever they faced each other. She began developing her own style of fighting and began to win and clear her name. She was no longer the adopted bastard pup but the young female making a name for herself. She started to get first pick at meal time and was climbing her way to the top.
When she turned two years old, she began to have extremist views about the lessons she had been taught through her young life. She had brought them up with the alpha but he simply dismissed her. She was shocked but she thought that if he only saw that she was right then he would agree with her. In the middle of the night, she woke from a soft slumber and approached one of the weaker fighters in the pack and killed him. She stepped on his throat and suffocated him. In her thought process, now there was more food for the stronger wolves and now the females had a better selection of males to pick from. See, in her pack the females chose their mates and not the other way around. They chose based on physical stature, reputation and of course fighting ability. Now, no female would be forced to breed with an unsuitable male and the next generation would be stronger. However, the rest of the pack didn't see it that way. When they found his body the next morning they knew that Yahvi had been his murderer and chased her far away from them. Yahvi was convinced that they were all incompetent and dense so shortly after her exile, she began to watch the pack, keen on revenge. One by one she began picking them off and disposing of them. They were worthless anyway. They were obviously not smart enough to see things her way and therefore should not be able to breed.
After they were all disposed of, including her adoptive mother because she knew too much, she began to look to the rest of Anikira. She set her goals high because she was not satisfied with only clearing the gene pool of her dense pack. She wanted to clear the entire island of anyone who might taint the race. She began stalking loners at night and her method of killing became cleaner and more lethal with practice. Then she moved onto packs. This was a more daunting task than expected for she had to sneak into the territory to watch them. Most of the time she would watch the pack for weeks to learn their habits before taking out a member or two. She was doing them a favor, really. But she knew they wouldn't see it that way much like her old pack so she had to be careful to not be caught. She had to continue with her quest until it was complete.
Before she turned three, a rouge male forced himself upon her and took her virginity. He was a large, black male who took her by surprise. She had never seen him coming. In all honesty, she was impressed by him though the pain he inflicted was great. She had a small litter of three pups. Small litters were a sign of weakness in males in her mind so therefore he had to be found and killed before he did that again. However, her children were all healthy and strong, thanks to her. The way she was taught was that the male decided the size and gender of the pups but the female decided the health and size. She couldn't bear dispose of three healthy pups even if any males might have the "small litter gene."
She kept her small pups in hiding and would only move them at night and instructed them to stay put until she returned whenever she left. After their birth, her killing sprees became more frequent as she had to eat more to provide milk for them. Because most of her days were spent planning and spying, she didn't have much time for hunting so, she began to eat the wolves she killed in order to feed her young. At first it was a sour thought but after she grew used to it it didn't bother her much.
As her pups grew older, she taught them to fight just as she was. Fighting made pups strong and it would show her who the strong ones were and who the weak ones were. They knew that the winners were the ones who got her attention and affection whereas the winners would get the cold shoulder. It was her way of explaining the way of the world to them. As they grew, she was quite pleased with them overall. She had trained them to believe the way she did and soon they would begin to help her in her quest for she knew it would be dangerous for her to continue alone. Someone would figure out her secret but if she had "helpers" it would appear as random disappearances. Occasionally she would leave the bodies of dead wolves for their packs to find if she wanted to send a message to them but normally she would either eat them and leave the eaten carcass for them or she would drag it off, never to be found.
Personality: Yahvi is not your average wolf. Some might think she's cold or twisted. Others may call her sick and manipulative. They'd all be right. Yahvi is a master manipulator. She thinks everything through thoroughly. She won't do anything unless it's for a purpose. Nothing is a gift free of strings from her. Nothing she says means nothing and sometimes she hints at secret meanings that others are supposed to figure out. Life is all a game to her in one aspect of her and she wants to be in charge. She also has a God complex and believes that she needs to clean out the gene pool for the benefit of all wolves. She thinks she has to speed up mother nature to insure that only the best wolves are able to reproduce and create young. (more specifics about what that will be will go here)
She also believes that she's unstoppable. She thinks she's the smartest wolf that ever was and ever will be. She thinks that she can do whatever she wants and no one will be able to stop her. She isn't one to share anything truly personal with anyone unless it would pan out in her favor later on. She prefers to stay in the shadows, undetected by the rest of the world to do her duties without being noticed. She travels mostly at night and during the day she either sleeps or plans her next moves. She prefers to work alone but in recent times she's discovering that it may be more beneficial to do her work with others in the long run.
Yahvi is very controlling. She wants everything done the way she wants it done with no exceptions. Do as she says and you'll be treated as royalty. Disobey her and you might as well say your prayers. Even if she doesn't kill you, she'll make you wish that she would have because sometimes she decides that death is too kind.
