OOC[/b]: Kesle is a wolf who is quite her own, and finding who she is is something that she values very highly. She hates change and the effects it has had on her life, and has tried to distance herself from that as much as possible. To add to that, Kesle is rather introverted. She prefers to be alone with her thoughts more that to be surrounded by other wolves, due to the fact that she takes criticism to heart and is ultimately afraid of the comments of others. This makes her come off as rather spacey and aloof to outsiders. However, Kesle is also capable of being quite stubborn and hard-headed, and if there's something she's really passionate about, she will let you know her view. The combination of all of these things makes it hard for Kesle to make many friends, since the layers of her moods and emotions can be strange and confusing. Kesle herself is out of practice at talking to people, having spent the majority of her life alone with only her thoughts for company. Most of the time, she will simply sit and observe the tide of converstation around her, sometimes making a comment that may or may not be actually relevant to whatever is being talked about.

History: Kesle was born in a small valley in the Nytyte River area of Caurus . Hers was a small family pack, right for a place with just enough for wolves to survive. The summers were hard, the winters harder. But the pack wolves were happy, because they knew nothing else.
Kesle was born in the usual way, with a sister, Mirrh, and a brother, Arkin. Their mother was a small, slight wolf named Fala, so fragile and delicate she might have been blown away by a puff of breeze. The pups' father was a large, sturdy rock of a wolf named Gryih. They and several other family members raised the pups, teaching them to hunt and fight and survive in a harsh world.
Among the pups, Arkin was the dominant. The fistborn had his father's dark brown fur, which coated sturdy muscles and broad shoulders. Arkin was always eager to please his father- and show his strength to the other pups. Kesle, the second to be born, was tall and a bit lanky, leaner than her brother. Smoky gray fur blanketed a dirty white on most of her face and underside. Mirrh was tiny and delicate, like her mother, with a soft downy coat of various cream colors layering her small body. She was quite sickly too, the last to be born. The adult wolves doted especially on her, fearfull that she would not survive. Arkin took this personally, confused and angry out of his jealousy that Mirhh got most of the attention. Kesle didn't quite understand why most days her little sister would stay by her mother's side and sleep instead of play, but she was quickly distracted by the games Arkin invented. Most had to do with fighting or tests of strength. Arkin almost always won, due to his strength and the fact that Kesle's big paws and long tail made her clumsy.
The young she-wolf was constantly frusterated at her own slowness and inability to exercise moves as her older brother did. She would often pester the older packmembers to playfight against her, challenging, begging, cajoleing, until out of annoyance they would consent to beat Kesle resoundingly. Her losing streak didn't deter her, however; sheer stubborness said that if she kept at it, no matter how many times one of the yearlings rolled her uncerimoniously onto her back, picked her up by her scruff, and dumped her into the den, one day she would get it. She'd show Arkin that being the biggest or strongest didn't mean that he could push her around.
The days passed into moon cycles, and the pup's downy fur began to shed, showing patches of thick, coarse adult pelt underrneath. Kesle and Arkin began to hunt small game under the watchful eye of the adults, and even take part in full scale hunts, if only to stand at the side and study the older ones. Kesle still prodded every wolf in sight to practice with her, and Arkin still beat her. But not everything stayed the same.
Fala, who had always been fearful of the outside world, became terrified at the thought of outsiders finding the pack after a small lone wolf intrusion. Paranoia took root, and the she-wolf began to long for the safety of the home pack she had left years ago. She became convinced she needed to find them again. The pack tried to convince her that it was foolish, but to no avail. Fala grew more and more distant in her pining.
One night, she simply dissapeared.
The pups woke up the next morning to find their mother gone, and no trace of her. It had snowed that last night, and tracks or scent were impossible to find. Poor Gryih searched the entire territory and beyond as far as he could, but never found her. The pack was devastated by the loss of its lead female. Gryih was reduced to little more than a hollow shell, and the pups shocked that their mother was just... gone. Little Mirrh took it especially hard. Soon after, she ventured out into the outer edge of the pack's territory, searching for Fala. Arkin and Kesle went after her when the weather started to take a turn for the worst. They found their sister along a narrow path in a gorge at the far northern edge.
"Mirhh! MIRRH! COME BACK!" Arkin had barked frantically at her. The ground felt weird under Kesle's paws, they had to reach her-
A wall of white slammed into Mirrh, engulfing her as it rushed down the gorge.
Only later did Kesle realise what had happened. All she remembered was Arkin dragging her out of the way by her scruff as a wash of blinding white snow and ice roared past her paws. She didn't really remember the trek back to the pack. The thing that stood out most in her mind was the look on her father's face when she and Arkin numbly stumbled through the story- Mirrh, the one who was really his last link to his mate, was dead.
The time that followed was hard. The pack seemed broken now, with Fala and Mirrh gone and Gryih a strange, distant shell. Arkin took unofficial command of the pack, leading hunts and checking borders. Kesle, however, spent as little time as possible around the others, wandering the territory and spending most nights away from the den site.
She found that she rather liked the quiet of being alone, just herself and her thoughts. Kesle now had the freedom to do as she liked, without her older brother or others pushing her around. The grief that had burdened her after her mother's leaving and Mirrh's death lessened a bit. She began to spend less and less time even within the pack's territory. It was not a concious choice- one day, after days and even weeks had passed since seeing the familiarity of her pack, Kesle just found herself realizing that she was never going back. That chapter of her life was over. She could look after herself well, and the she-wolf looked to the distant mountains with paws itching to wander- just wander.
And so, at the age of two years, Kesle became a loner. And has been ever since, trekking the land of Anikira while carefully keeping clear of the packs she heard calling at night. In the past, she convinced herself that pack life was not for her. But as the next harsh winter approaches, the she-wolf is looking upon pack borders with new eyes...
b]Personality
Also, as a side note I might add that she isn't ready to, and has never really considered, finding a mate.
