A dark colored wolf cast his anxious eyes over the trees around him. It had been almost a day since his life was turned in a different direction. After loosing his mother and being separated from his sister, he felt himself longing for company once again. Mhakoto cautiously passed more trees, slowly venturing further into the unknown. He had chosen to enter this forest because it emitted a strong pack smell, and he had decided that he best course of action was to join a pack. Or at least get to know what they were like.
The currently lone wolf took only a few more steps forward. By now, he was surrounded by the tall trees in every direction. After everything I've been through, he thought to himself as he observed his surroundings, I deserve to be around my own kind. The average sized wolf inhaled deeply. Here goes nothing. He threw his head back and let out a mighty howl. His voice was surprisingly powerful for such an average wolf.
Mhakoto finished his howl and let his head slowly fall back into its normal position. He took a few breathes to calm his nerves and set his ears on alert, listening to his message dance though the trees and hopefully towards a pack. It was a shot in the dark for him, trying to call a member of a pack to come and meet him. Not only that, but it could be dangerous too. The male wolf didn't know anything about the pack who lived here. He didn't know anything about any pack in this strange place. His mind chewed over decisions on what to do next. Should he wait here, or travel further in?
He decided to play it safe and made himself comfy where he was. From his experience with other wolves, he knew they were territorial. The last thing he needed was to make an enemy already. Maybe it won't take too long for someone to find me. said the little voice in his head. Mhakoto didn't realize just how tired the recent events had made him until he sat down under a nearby tree. His eyes felt so heavy, and his legs ached. On second thought, let them take their time. His eyes closed and he fell asleep almost instantly.

OOC: Sorry for a short post. I have a pounding headache and I'm very sleepy. But if I didn't post fairly soon I would have forgotten all about needed him to join a pack.
