Audas carefully pulled himself up onto the next rock, scanning the boulder and scree filled slope ahead of him to pick a route, before looking down and continuing upward, higher up onto the smaller mountain. The wind, whilst it ruffled the hunter's fur, was not the strongest winds that could blow through the mountains here, and it barely affected his walking, even though he was climbing uphill.
The brown furred male and his furry white mate had decided to climb up one of the smaller, craggy mountains in Shyia, as part of their initial exploration of the territory since joining Airila. Whilst Audas had quickly skirted through the region once on his way back to Canrus, he didn't really take the time to look around. He was a loner then, and he didn't want to stick around for too long at the time.
But things were different now, Audas was now a hunter of Airila, and he had all the time needed to get the lay of the land before he got to work. He and Nymph had both saw the climb as both a moment to relax, but also a moment to see what was up here. Audas could have a look to see what kind of animals lived up here to help settle him in to the role of hunter, whilst Nymph could investigate what plants were here as she adapted to the role of gatherer.
Exploring the mountains here would help them both learn more about what resources they had to hand, and it would certainly help in the future, especially if Nymph was to take up the role of Shaman someday, as Toiro had hinted slightly at. That would make Audas proud about his mate.
As for himself, Audas was perfectly content as a normal hunter, in fact, he would embrace it. The oddly coloured grey wolf had no desire or want to lead. He would never accept the rank of Lead Hunter, nevermind Beta or Alpha positions, even if pressured towards the position. He simply didn't want to lead, and that was that.
Audas finally emerged onto a small clearing, some foliage lay to his left, and with the solid rock behind that, it was clear from the wind. To his right, a steep, but short drop lay. The male had proceeded ahead of Nymph to make sure the path was clear whilst Nymph took a breather, before deciding whether or not she would come up further. The furry white wolf remained in sight at the bottom of the rocks.
The hunter lifted his head up, took in the view, and let the wind buffet his face.

OOC: Excited for this, hope it's a good start, if you want it to be in a different location, let me know and I will get a fresh one together.
