History:SummaryHer biological parents are the Beta of a pack, Atticus and his secret lover, Ronaele. When the Alpha female discovers her love interests secret family, she kills two pups before she’s stopped. Ronaele runs away abandoning her broken family. Atticus takes the position as Alpha male, but under the request of his new mate, removes the remainder of his pups away from the pack. He plans on bringing the three pups to his brother Duval and his brother’s mate Antonia to raise, thought by the time he reaches his brother, there is one pup left. Duval and Antonia take the female pup as their own, name her Nova and raise her alongside their own last surviving pup, Lucius. Duval and Antonia have made a life being traveling Shaman, and bring their children up in the same lifestyle. Each pup is taught the knowledge of herbs and curing illnesses and mending to wounds.
A year and a half after their birth, Tas’alea’s societies are crumbling with wolves seeking conquest from Anikira, and wolves of Tas’alea leaving, wondering what else is beyond everything they have ever known. Life for the traveling family becomes tenuous, not knowing any longer who is friend and who is foe, Duval sets out to find a place for his children in the world that he knew. Lucius is promised to a female heir of a pack their family often visited. This suits Lucius because he had always wanted to plant roots somewhere, never fully enjoying the gypsy lifestyle of his parents choosing. Nova is distraught because Broderick, a slightly older male she had always fancied is the Beta of the pack her brother is going to live in. Learning the Broderick is already spoken for by another, she resigns to follow her father’s orders and become Alpha female of the oldest pack on Tas’alea, though she will be mated to a male, however kind and respectful, is three times her elder.
Along the way to meet her new mate, she and her parents come across Nova’s oldest friend, Alvina. She tells the family of the tragedy that has befallen her father’s pack and Nova tells her friend that she can come and live with her in her new pack. Along the way still, the four wolves cross paths with two rogue males who eventually kill Nova’s parents while Nova and Alvina escape. They run to the new land Anikira in search of a new life, a fresh start. They join a pack that is ruled by females, where male types are second class. The pack has very strict rules and guidelines to follow, and after watching two males escape from the pack, Nova reconsiders vowing to be a member for life. She convinces Alvina to leave with her and after a month on their own they meet up with the two males that had escaped.
The males are known as Thanatos and Kuruk, and they are brothers though they look nothing alike. Nova instantly is attracted to the younger brother as he is handsome, warm and welcoming, whereas his brother is cold and gruff. The attraction between Thanatos and Nova grows rapidly day by day, and in an attempt to curb the likeness, Kuruk informs Nova about Thanatos’s previous love interest, a female that Nova just happens to resemble. Kuruk plants the seed that Thanatos is just living vicariously through Nova, pretending that she is actually someone else. Between Kuruk’s confession and witnessing the two brothers viciously fight, Nova runs away leaving Alvina behind.
It was due to a lone female that Nova encountered while on her own that makes Nova see that she loves Thanatos, and convinces Nova to return to him. Everything between the group of four seem to be going okay, Alvina and Kuruk are getting closer and Nova is happy for her friend until one night Kuruk makes a move on her. Nova roughly turns him down, upset for her friend that Kuruk doesn’t actually care for Alvina. But that night Kuruk confesses that he did love someone before, or thought he did… It just happened to be the same female that Thanatos was with before Nova.
Days later Nova notices that Kuruk is physically abusing her good friend and after Nova confront Kuruk about the abuse, he attempts to drown Alvina. Fortunately Thanatos is there to rescue Alvina and he pens his brother in an abandoned mine shaft from which Alvina frees Kuruk from. Kuruk and Alvina’s abusive relationship continues for a while longer but Nova can’t seem to talk any sense into her friend. Alvina tells Nova that Kuruk is murdering innocent lone wolves in the area, and not wanting to be associated with someone like that, Nova leaves the brothers a second time. A couple of weeks pass and Nova finds herself returning to Thanatos, not wanting to be away from him. Upon her return Thanatos tells Nova that he just had to end a young female’s life because Kuruk had poisoned her. Sickened and enraged, Nova goes after Kuruk, giving him a piece of her mind.
She sets out to leave a third time, telling herself that no matter how much she may love Thanatos that if he can’t see that what his brother is doing is wrong, then he isn’t worth her time. But in an unfortunate accident she becomes pinned under a tree, and goes unconscious. Upon regaining consciousness, she is over Kuruk’s back and they are somewhere she had never seen before. She fights to leave him, however she is weak and her attempt is feeble against Kuruk. She submits and during the course of the day the two consume hallucinogenic plants and Nova begins to see Kuruk in a different light after all of his inebriated talk.
Now her heart is torn between feeling sorry for Kuruk and loving him albeit his mistakes; or knowing the better choice is Thanatos.- - - - - - - - - -To understand who one is; one must understand where one came from…
One
Nova’s biological parents never intended to breathe life into her, but a night of heated, regrettable passion changed their lives forevermore. Nova’s biological father Atticus was the faithful and loyal Beta of a small pack ruled by a recently widowed Alpha female, who, since her mate’s death had become depressed and bitter. Atticus had been trying to court the Alpha and restore her happiness when an early winter traveler joined the ranks of their pack. She was beautiful, young and flirty; her name was Ronaele and she had a mind to rule a pack before her third name day. She seduced Atticus with her charms in hopes of carrying his young which would force his hand; either become the exiled Beta for having bastard children or over-throw the Alpha and take Ronaele as his mate.
Neither of those options appealed to Atticus, though he insisted, as far as Rona was concerned, he was waiting for the opportune moment to perform a coup and he would raise Rona up as his rightful mate and their children would rule after them. Even as he forced Rona away from the pack as her belly grew, to keep her pregnancy a secret from the others, he insisted that all he did was for her and their family’s best interest. In actuality he prayed to the Gods that an unfortunate accident would befall the conniving young dame while he continued to court the Alpha, chipping away at her walls. Albeit her bitterness, there were moments when the Alpha would let down her guard around Atticus and he knew that the female that he had admired from afar before her mate’s death was still under her hardened exterior. Besides, Rona was simply an attraction of the flesh, she was young and naïve and not at all what Atticus was looking for in a life-long partnership.
For weeks Atticus had stopped visiting Ronaele in the den where he had left her, hoping she would realize that he was not going to return, hoping that maybe she thought he had died trying to give her what she wanted… It was not so. Three days after giving birth, Rona slipped away to tell Atticus that he was the proud father to five beautiful, healthy pups. Beside himself that Ronaele had returned he became angry and turned her away, telling her to take the bastards and never return. He did not want to know her or them. Rona returned to the den broken hearted - the pups filled her with such joy and love, if only Atticus would lay eyes upon them his mind would change. She knew that she could never have him if he belonged to the Alpha. That night she resigned knowing what she was going to have to do to have her happy ending.
Four days after her meeting with Atticus she waited for him to leave the Alpha’s side, and in that moment she swept down and confessed to the Alpha that she loved Atticus, although he had used her to satisfy his testosterone fueled needs and had abandoned her with babies growing her in belly. Ronaele had arranged a meeting with the Alpha that afternoon so she could prove that Atticus was not the honorable wolf he claimed to be.
Wishing to cause the most hurt and embarrassment, the Alpha invited the entire pack to witness the fall of her courtier and the Beta of their small pack. Unsuspecting Atticus was surprised when they met Ronaele in the jungle with five squirming, whining balls of fur crawling around her feet. When confronted, Atticus did not try to deny the fact that he had bedded Rona and subsequently created the bastard pups placed before them. The Alpha had hung on to her anger all day and used that as her anchor but the moment she set eyes on Ronaele with Atticus’ children at her feet…jealousy and heart break shattered her bit of sanity and she exploded. She ordered two hunters to attack Rona and before she could contain herself she leapt onto the heap of pups and started crushing them one by one in her jaws.
Atticus could have withstood watching Rona take a brutal beating, but the second his Alpha took her anguish out on the pups he had not been able to take his eyes off of since their first meeting, that was when the whole scene seemed real. He was too late to react for two of the pups but he engaged the Alpha and fought with her until she ultimately submitted, breaking down in a sobbing heap pleading for forgiveness. In the end, Atticus became the new leader of the pack, and took the Alpha to mate. Ronaele had disappeared in the night, leaving the remainder of her pups with their father. Atticus’ new mate’s only condition was that the pups be removed from the pack. She could not live every day for the rest of her life looking into the eyes of the remaining three knowing that she killed their siblings. Because of this request, Atticus chose two other members of the pack and each carried a pup on the search for his brother Duval and Duval’s young mate Antonia. Duval had been a member of Atticus’ pack for years. The two brothers had joined together and had quickly climbed up the ranks; Duval becoming a Shaman.
It was only nine months ago Duval and Antonia had left the pack because they wanted to raise a family and the Alpha had refused their request. In turn, the two went on to do something with their lives that was uniquely their own; they had named themselves Shaman and traveled the whole of Tas’alea, visiting each residing pack offering their skills in exchange for a meal and shelter during their stay. During the months since Duval and Antonia’s abandonment of their pack, the two had become quite famous; because of the benefit of their knowledge and skills, alliances between the pair and a majority of the packs living across the continent came easy. Wherever the two were welcomed they were treated with high honors and many times they were sought out for their aide.
For the pair that had left a happy pack life to start a family, sadly, they had had a hard time conceiving. Their first attempt resulted in two pups that had died prematurely in the womb. Afterwards Antonia tested every fertility treatment they knew, and had gone to the extent of asking other Shaman placed around the island if they knew of any additional remedies. When all of these resources were exhausted, Antonia had yet to conceive a second time. It wasn’t until the spring that Antonia became pregnant and carried to full term. Even at that, weeks before Atticus arrived, she had suffered through a hard labor and gave birth to three live pups. Within hours one pup passed away and the couple grieved. On day two, another female pup perished. Antonia was shattered but Duval reasoned that they must stay strong and do all they could for their third and final living pup. The Gods had heard their prayers and a week after his birth, the boy who would come to be known as Lucius Thiago Ulysses began to grow stronger.
Upon finding his brother, Atticus had previously sent the two members that he had set out with back because each of the pups they were carrying had died along the journey. One had succumbed to injuries sustained by the Alpha female before Atticus had jumped to the rescue. The second, Atticus’ last remaining son, had died of starvation. Atticus told his brother of the events that had transpired in his brother’s absence and Duval filled his brother in on their own woes. Seeing as the little female had received Antonia so easily, Atticus turned to his brother and pleaded that he and his mate take the pup, raise her as their own. He could not afford, now in his position, to have a bastard child and there was no one else that he trusted more in the world to raise his daughter. Duval turned to Antonia who answered without turning away from the two suckling pups, “Of course we will Atticus. And we will name her for the two girls that we lost, Nova Aviana Ulysses.” And so it was. Atticus left at day’s end and Duval and Antonia rejoiced, what seemed to be missing was now completed with the addition of little Nova.- - - - - - - - - - - -Nova grew up to have a happy childhood, her parents, as she knew them doted over her and her brother Lucius. When the pups were strong enough to travel, Duval and Antonia set out with the two youngsters in tow to introduce them to their first look at pack life. For every new place they ventured, the pups were received joyously for everyone knew of the struggles Duval and Antonia had in their attempt to create a family. Neither parent led on that biologically Nova was their niece, to them she was their daughter, and that was all that mattered. Over the next twelve months the family of four roamed Tas’alea, visiting packs and nurturing the sick or wounded just as Duval and Antonia had done before the birth of the pups. Working hours were spent watching her parents create salves and wraps and potions. Antonia insisted that her children learn the trade so they could continue their good life in later years. Nova did not mind the work, she rather enjoyed it. Often when she would cross paths with an unknown plant or flower she would ask her father what the name of it was and what uses it possessed. It became a sort of game for father and daughter, she would try to discover the most exotic of plants to try and stump him. Nova always worked closely with her mother when it came to tending to patients, what she enjoyed the most was the gratitude that was bestowed upon her for her part in the patient’s recovery. It gave her a sense of accomplishment, more than anyone her age that she knew could attest to.
Two
Lucius on the other hand begrudgingly worked alongside his parents and Nova. He retained the information and could complete simple tasks, but it was the constant moving that upset Lucius. Nova was always outgoing and made friends wherever her family traveled. If there were pups her and her brother’s age, when she wasn’t helping her parents she was afforded the chance to be a pup and play games with the others. If there were no young in the pack, she sought out the elders and raptly listened to their stories of days long gone. Lucius was always very sickly as a pup due to allergies and was susceptible to most other contagious illnesses. Because of this, Antonia kept him closely guarded and Lucius was not outgoing like his sister. When there were pups around they were inclined to tease Lucius though not within earshot of Nova.
Nova was beautiful even at a young age, with an attractive personality to boot. The young boys, even a few that were several months to a year older than she, were quick to understand that being ill towards her brother meant Nova was sure to avoid you. She never allowed Lucius to be omitted from her games with friends, although more times than not Lucius was more of a third wheel, a shadow in the background. Nova loved him still, because he was her brother and her constant friend. Unlike all of her other friends, wherever she traveled, he always came with her.
Notable packs they visited growing up were Ezra, led by Warwick and Peony. The pack resided on the northern most shores of Tas’alea and Nova loved visiting this pack most of all because there was a female pup Alvina, who was Nova’s age, who became her very best friend. The two girls, along with Lucius, loved to play amongst the wreckage of a great big ship that was rotting away in the bay. Alvina was one of many daughters born to the Alpha and one day, Alvina told Nova that Peony wasn’t her mother. In fact, Warwick kept a harem of females and produced young with them all, though Peony was the Alpha female of the pack. This had surprised Nova because for a pup she was well versed with the world and wolf society and this behavior was very different from any that she had known. Later on, Nova would learn from her father that Warwick had asked to take Nova as a mate when she came of age. When her father declined the offer, Warwick added that he would raise Duval’s daughter to be his Queen if he reconsidered. Duval ultimately still said no.
There were packs that only had one Alpha; Omarasa was led by a single male, Torrhen. He was wizened at seven, of age with Nova’s father. He was kind and gentle and his pack members greatly respected him. He had a large pack and informed by a female a couple years older than Nova, was told that Torrhen had lost his mate two years past in the birthing process. Fortunately, his mate had previously bore him offspring, but alas all had been female and it was male right to rule. The female who told Nova this was looking at becoming Torrhen’s mate believing that she could bare him an heir. Alas that would not be so. There was also Heiro, ruled over by Ilys. She was the only Alpha Nova knew of that was from a foreign land. She had washed up on Tas’alea and carved out a territory for herself and her followers. Nova admired Ilys for her strength and loved listening to her speak, partly because Ilys had an accent that made her all the more beautiful. Ilys took Nova under wing and tried to instill strong female morals and will. Most of those that lived on Tas’alea had old values and beliefs Ilys proclaimed were wrong from the Dark Ages. Most of Tas’alea believed in male right and hierarchy and Ilys sought that the Gods had sent her here to change that tired way of thinking.
Others were Meilyr, overseen by Thirka and Dakota. Their territory abutted Alvina’s homeland, and in order to reach the Ezra pack, her family had to pass through Meilyr. Even though she and her family may not have always been needed at Meilyr, they were in contact often by right of passage. It’suki was located further south and shared a boundary line with the pack that her parents had previously belonged to before they set out on their own. Duval slipped one time and had wondered aloud if his brother still ruled over the pack. This ignited curiosity in Nova and she begged her parents to go and visit but her mother put an end to her squabbling. It’suki was led by Daemyn and Shasta, though they weren’t the characters that Nova loved to see whenever she and her family visited. It was the handsome Beta, Broderick that Nova fawned over. Nova believed that he was extra nice to her and her heart would flutter every time he caught sight of her out of the corner of his eye and would wink at her.
Mistica was another pack her family was called upon for. They were a hard pack and Nova’s parents never traveled there unless they were sought out for a particular cause. There were never any games or welcoming feasts for her family like in other places. The wolves in this pack were warriors and they were all so very huge, most of which belonging to the Kenai breed. Joza and Malia were the Alpha pair and although they were cordial and grateful whenever her parents arrived Nova gathered the impression that they did not want to host outsiders for long periods of time. Therefore, when they visited the Mistica pack their time there was short, and aside from interaction with the wolf or wolves that needed tending too, Nova did not talk with anyone else.
In the year of Nova’s birth, there was a great volcanic eruption that bridged Tas’alea to a much larger continent that would come to be known to the residents of Tas’alea as Anikira. In the year since its creation, the bridge had allowed wolves who lived on Tas’alea to leave and explore what was beyond the island’s jungles and beaches. As it was vice versus, as the word spread, wolves and other creatures began to conjure towards Tas’alea. The original reaction of the bridge forming was delight, for some Tas’alea was feeling overcrowded… Though as more and more wolves came to Tas’alea unrest amongst the packs and bands of rogues erupted in autumn of 2013.
Her family’s way of life became much more difficult. Petty wars had sprung up; packs that lived mostly in harmony alongside one another were now fighting. Newcomers to the island were creating packs of their own and fighting for territory. Alpha’s lost battles and packs that Nova had known all her life were turned over to new leadership and she and her family were outcast. All the alliances her parents had worked so hard to create, were falling away and where ever they traveled, there was the anxiety of not knowing if they would be received with open arms or turned away… or worse, murdered.
The winter had been hard on her family; they were all lean and hungry. Nova’s mother had fallen ill from malnourishment, giving a better portion of each of their small meals to her children. Duval positioned the family in a hidden cavern near Delia Basin. He set out on his own, leaving his children in charge of gathering food and returning their mother back to health. Nova’s father was gone for a couple of weeks and upon his return he was not alone. With him, was the handsome Beta Nova had long had admired, Broderick. Duval explained that he had left to secure places for his children within packs. Lucius was to leave with Broderick in the morning where upon his arrival at It’suki he was to be joined with Daemyn and Shasta’s oldest daughter and following Daemyn’s death, become Alpha of the pack. Nova was promised to Torrhen, the elderly single male who had still not taken another female as his mate and had a very large amount of followers. His territory had yet to be touched by the wars and Duval thought it the safest place for his daughter.
Nova was devastated. Here her brother was going to be in the same pack with Broderick and she was going to be mated with a male that was as senile as her father! While everyone slept she woke Broderick and pulled him outside the den where she confessed her love for him and claimed that she knew that he had loved her too. She begged him to take her with him tomorrow, she would be his faithfully forever more… If only he would convince her father that being with Broderick was the best choice. Broderick admitted that he had fancied Nova for a time, and that even now she was the most beautiful creature he had ever laid eyes upon… But alas, he was mated to another and could not - would not cast her love aside for the attraction that he felt for Nova. Even further disappointed, Nova dragged herself back to the den, but did not sleep. In the morning she watched Lucius and Broderick head off towards It’suki while she and her parents set off in the opposite direction. She did not look back, resigned that she would have a good life with Torrhen; many a female wanted to be in her place because he was the most powerful Alpha on all of Tas’alea as far as Nova knew. Nova had no fear of being disrespected by him or others. There could have been a worse match.
Her family never made it to Omarasa though. Along the way they ran in to Alvina who was exhausted and shaken up; she told the family the tale that had befallen her family. Thirka and Dakota had decided to move their pack to the foreign land Anikira in search of a more bountiful territory. Alvina was not sure if they had ever made it, but what she did know is that all the years of their existence, Meilyr had been an ally and had served as the first defense against an invading pack… But once they moved out of the way, Ezra was open to conquest. A bachelor pack had invaded and murdered her father Warwick. Since Ezra was made up mostly of Warwick’s harem the invading group quickly ran rampant. Any female of breeding age had been raped and were forced into submission. Those who didn’t were killed. Upon seeing her father’s pack fall to shambles, at the risk of being swept out to sea by the current, Alvina swam the mouth of the cove where she continued to run for three days straight to bridge the distance between herself and her potential captors.
Nova soothed her with the promise that she would keep Alvina safe; she could join Nova at Omarasa as she was going to be Queen, and they would have to accept Alvina. Though two days later, the travelers came across a pair of Kenai males who eyed the two young females hungrily. Not willing to allow his daughter and her best friend to come to harm, Duval first tried diplomacy and when that didn’t work he stood his ground, willing he die in order to save his daughter. Before all hell broke loose, Antonia told Nova to take Alvina and go to Omarasa. No matter what happened, what they heard or saw, they were to keep going until they reached Torrhen. When the first Kenai wolf lunged, Alvina broke and ran back the way they had come. Nova tried to tell her that she was going the wrong way, but Alvina kept running, and not willing to leave her friend alone, Nova followed…
Eventually the two females reached the bridge that everyone spoke of, the bridge that began all of the turmoil on Tas’alea and in their own lives. As they crossed the bridge, a weight fell from their shoulders; the burden and sadness that all of Tas’alea held for them now fell away. The pain of losing their families still hurt, but here in the new lands they couldn’t be haunted by the memories. They each would have a fresh start, a clean slate. They could become anyone they wanted to be. As she stepped foot into The Occassus and she would come to learn it was called, Nova couldn’t help but wonder if those were the reasons so many others had crossed that bridge.- - - - - - - - - - - -
Three
The pair spent a month on the new land before they were accepted into a pack. It had never felt like home, but it was acceptance none-the-less. Donae was a matriarchal pack, fresh females were always accepted into the ranks, but that didn’t mean the theology was butterflies and roses. The lead female was something of a queen bee and everyone else were her workers. Nova and Alvina were assigned a Guardian, a female member whose task it was to teach incoming drones what it meant to be a part of Donae. Gem was their Guardian; she was of a breed Nova had never seen before. She had long legs of black, large round ears and a pointed face. Her coat was the brightest color either Nova or Alvina had ever laid eyes upon.
She informed the girls that they were not to speak unless they were required to in order to complete a task. Males, although few and far between in Donae, were to be avoided by Tributes at all costs. Each male had an escort and could not venture anywhere without his assigned escort. The male’s only purpose in Donae was for breeding, to be used solely by the Queen and other females of high rank. There were a lot of other rules and stipulation to being a member of Donae, so much so that since a members’ joining they were on a probationary status for the first three moon turns. Either party could remove themselves from the other if they so wished. On the third full moon, there was a ceremony and new members took vows and were forever sworn to the Queen and Donae.
One day, Nova laid eyes upon a handsome multicolored male who was not easily overlooked given his size and stature amongst the crowd of females that belong to Donae. Several times she had eyed him and she couldn’t help but feel as if she had met him before. The thought nagged her every time she saw him across the way, and in a momentary lapse of judgment she was compelled to ask him just where she knew him from. Before she could entertain the idea of introducing herself, his Escort bulled Nova over and demanded to know who she thought she was? Hearing the commotion, Gem ran over and quickly and repeatedly apologized for her Tribute’s disgraceful action and referred to the Escort as Miss Odara.
A month after that incident, while Alvina and Nova were out gathering items for the nights upcoming inaugural ceremony under the supervision of Gem, the pack erupted to barking and yipping. Gem turned to the two friends and commanded them to stay and continue working and that she was going to go and check out all of the commotion. But the girls were just as curious as Gem and quietly followed her. They had hardly made it half way back when they were nearly trampled on by an overly large black colored male. Nova instantly knew him as a Kenai for she remembered very well the size of the wolves in the Mistica pack from days long ago. He was shortly followed by the handsome male Nova insisted she knew from somewhere.
Unsettled by the apparent escape of the two males Nova no longer wanted to be a part of Donae, but the difficult part was talking Alvina in to leaving. They rarely had time to themselves as Gem was always around, but in between the late night whispers Nova gathered that Alvina liked it here in Donae. Albeit the rules Alvina felt safe here; she had seen awful things done by the male body of the wolf species and considering that the males here were kept under a tight rule, she didn’t fear them as she did outside of Donae. The only thing that persuaded Alvina from leaving was guilt, Nova reminded her best friend that she would be an Alpha right now, heavy with Torrhen’s pups if not for Alvina running and not listening to her.
The following night the friends stole away and set out on their own again. The weather became steadily warmer in the month they spent just the two of them. They found themselves clinging to the shores of a great river when they came across the handsome male from Donae. Alvina was worried at first that he would recognize them and take his vengeance out on them, but Nova insisted otherwise. He called himself Thanatos, and as it turned out he did not recognize the two females at all, and Nova decided that maybe it was for the best. She didn’t want to seem as if she was stalking him. Thanatos introduced Nova and Alvina to his brother Kuruk, the male that had nearly bulled her over several weeks ago.
This simple introduction was the beginning of the whirlwind that would be known as Thanatos and Kuruk. For reasons unknown, even to herself, Nova returns every time she leaves the two males…
Personality: Nova's roots have deeply affected the type of wolf she is today. Her mother and father were genial and Nova learned by example how to treat others by watching them interact with Alpha's, lower ranking pack members and lone wolves alike.
She learned compassion from her mother, who always requested Nova's presence when she was tending to a wolf in need. Antonia always told her that there was only so much knowledge of plants and healing that could help heal, but being kind enough to care about their wellbeing was something that everyone could better from.
Being beautiful isn’t a personality trait but in its own way molded Nova. She drew attention wherever she went, from males who wanted to court her, and from females who wanted to share in some of the spotlight. She’s confident in herself without being arrogant, making for a great companion. Nova lived a unique life with her parents and brother, combined with her outgoing personality, she always had a gaggle of friend following her around when she was growing up, wanting to share in her experiences. She naturally became the leader of her own posy, she can be a bit bossy at times and think only of herself.
Nova’s parents had a high moral code, and albeit being kind and generous they thought ill of other’s who did not meet up with their standard of living. They taught their daughter what their expectations for her were, and those expectations of those that surrounded them. More often than not when a wolf had been given a bad reputation for one reason or another, her parents were the first to cast them out not wanting to be associated with riffraff. This trait too rubbed off on Nova and she’s quick to judge others on their poor behavior, but also equally quick to forgive. Perhaps it was all the time she spent with her mother taking care of the ill, or her quick trusting nature, but once you’ve entered in to Nova’s life she has a hard time letting go. She connects with others on a deep level and no matter what she is always going to feel something for them because she cares, some say too much.
