It was true that ever since the she wolf got herself back to perfect health, she started to grow in popularity throughout her pack. She was still far from being the most well known in the pack and she doubted she ever would be the most well known. But, she had definitely met more wolves now that she looked a thousand times better than she ever had when she first joined. Despite the cold wind that had been blowing for the past several days, the silver wolf decided to go explore the reef that she had often heard about in the lands.
As she waded through the shallow waters, Kiva was able to identify several different types of bright and colorful fish swimming around. There was the Bi color Angelfish, the two spined angelfish, the purple queen, the hump head banner fish, the Red fin butterfly fish, and even those were only a small portion of the fish she saw. Even though her old pack lands weren’t near a reef, her mother often told her stories of glorious sea animals and on rare occasions, her father would lead her out of his territory to show her the strange creatures that her mother spoke of.
Once she made it to the coral, her stomach growled hungrily and she decided now would be a good time to practice her fishing skills, or somewhat lack thereof. She stood still in the water so that her presence would not scare away the surrounding fish. She looked around; judging each fish by its size to better determine which one would be better suited going after. After locking in on the perfect fish, she watched the way it swim, analyzing when and where she should reach in and grab it. Finally, she got her second and plunged her open jaws into the water on top of the fish, snapping her teeth shut before it could escape. She shook her head and bit down hard before laying down in the water and starting on her snack.
