History:
It all started out so innocently. Two pups were brought into the world in two very different places. One, a little female tundra wolf, Angel, came to her family with such great promise. Her father was of decent standing in his pack, and her mother was just as sweet and motherly as anyone. She had two brothers, both were just as normal as anyone else. But Angel, she was different, and not necessarily in a good way. She was plagued with anger, an anger that overtook her so strongly that she had no idea what was happening and would not remember the events that had taken place during her episodes. Her mother was one of her victims, even at the early age of two weeks. This did not do too much damage, because of her small size, and her parents spoke with the pack's shaman in concern for their daughter's future.
They were told that she would not be conscious during her episodes, and that the only way to help her would be to teach her to see the good in everyone and everything in order to avoid setting her off. For a while, life was good and their daughter was peaceful and happy. But then, her brother got her angry by teasing her and set her off into a very violent episode. She ended up killing him, but before she regained consciousness, her parents had cleaned up the scene and reported to her that he had decided to leave. They told her, as well, that she should go on her way and start a new life for herself. She left, then, and discovered Anikira off the coast of Africa.
The other pup, however, lived a much more difficult life, and he was very aware of the reasons behind it. He was born into a pack by the alpha pair, along with a sister that was loved from the very beginning. He, however, was different. He was born black, with a bright patch of gold on his muzzle and gold socks. Because of this coloring, which was considered unnatural by the pack's shaman, he was shunned. He lived this way for years, watching his sister, Arwen, get everything that he thought he deserved, for as the only male of their litter, he would have been the pack's natural heir. She was chosen, however, and later in life when she took a mate, the jealousy was too much for Vorilye, and he left.
Outside of his parent's pack, however, things were different. Without the foreboding judgement of the shaman hanging over his head, the females of the outside world accepted him, adored him, even. His size was revered, as was his strength, and even his unnatural coloring seemed to be a reason for attraction. After a while, he took on a female, Ithilwen, as his mate. They had triplets, all male. The started their own pack, in a little nook of Anikira, and eventually Ithilwen gave him two daughters as well. Eventually, though, Ithilwen came to the decision that she was no longer happy living with his commanding and powerful personality. She confided in her sons, who agreed to drive him away for good.
On a hunt one day, his three sons turned on him. Although Vor was a strong and powerful wolf, even he could not stand against three of his own male offspring. When they told him it was his mate that wanted him gone, he refused to believe it, until he returned to find her shocked that he was still there, and still alive. He left, crushed by her betrayal. He traveled alone for a while after, though eventually he founded another pack, Descai. He hardly spoke to anyone, and no one in the pack really knew his name. Angel, the female with anger fits, was one of the first members to join his pack, and stuck with him the longest. His new pack slowly grew in strength, and Vor was determined to help it grow even more. After killing Akihra, he took over the Kamari, after her murder of one of his sons. After another while, he took on Atriell as a mate, though she vanished not too long afterwards and left him alone once more. When he left in search of her, he returned to find his pack in shambles, a problem that he slowly worked to recover from.
He took Angel and Celosia that season, both of which produced litters for him. Angel gave him a beautiful litter, filled with a white and gold female, a pair of dark males that looked almost identical, and a large white male with a gold symbol around his right eye. This was Pharaoh, Vor's pride and joy. At least, that was what the young pup assumed himself to be. He was by far the largest and best of his siblings, and he was sure to bring Descai pride and strength in the coming future.
Personality:
From the very beginning, Pharaoh was a treasure, a gift to his father's pack. At least, that was what he thought of himself. He was large, powerful, and he would bring Descai strength and power someday. Not only had he inherited his father's unique gold markings, but he also inherited his increased size and inflated sense of self-worth. He can easily be described as narcissistic, though he does not tower over others with his ego and think that they are severely less than him. No, there is a kind and considerate aspect to his personality. He loves his siblings, and although he does not see any of them as worthy heirs for their father's pack, he does believe that they will all have their role to play in the pack's future. He, of course, will have the greatest of these roles.
There is a darker side to his personality, however. Thanks to his mother, Angel, the male has inherited a sort of anger problem. Then again, his father is not altogether innocent in this either. Though not as severe as his mother's problem, Pharaoh will occasionally find himself overwhelmed with anger for almost no reason at all. That, and sometimes even the smallest of things can set him off. And though he does not black-out like his mother does during her episodes, there are times when he can be just as viscous, if not more violent, during his own loss of control. Typically, the worst of his episodes are very rare. Most of the time, his anger is held in his mind, and will occasionally come out in his words and make him appear more narcissistic and full of himself than he truly is.
The male is a complicated mixture of two different emotions. Love for his family and his father's pack, and love for himself. That, and the anger that always haunts him and threatens to come out at the most inconvenient of times. He is an intelligent wolf, though there are times that his inflated self-worth can get him into situations that could have easily been avoided with a thorough and analytic mind. Overtime he will work on his self-control, as well as his mind and outbursts. Only time will tell what kind of wolf he is truly destined to be.
