History: Nurina wasn’t always so hostile and mistrusting, in fact losing a certain someone in her life caused a dramatic shift in her perspective. It all started with a nameless she-wolf entrusting her only surviving pup, a runt that had no hope of surviving in her care, to an Alpha that had found her in her dying moments. The she-wolf was none other than Nurina’s mother and the Alpha went by the name of Nuseri. Feeling pity for the dying she-wolf, a miracle happened, and he took the runt in and named her after himself, deciding to call her Nurina.
Alpha Nuseri sported quite a group of followers and the pack welcomed Nurina with open paws (well, most did). They lived on a small island called Anikira, in a lush, grassy forest of Kamari. Nuseri gave Nurina to his mate to nurse along with his other pups though she was treated no differently than the Alpha’s two sons. She was taught alongside her two half-brothers how to hunt, fight, and read. Those years that she spent with Nuseri and his family were precious to Nurina and she grew to love them as if they were her true family. She grew especially attached to Nuseri, whom became quite the father figure to her and often was the one who taught her, along with her new mother, how to hunt.
By the time Nurina and her brothers reached the age of two years. And one morning they spotted a stranger, whom sported a pelt of creamy white and eyes of emerald, entered the Nuseri's pack territory asking for “sanctuary.” Rather reluctantly Nuseri agreed to let the vagabond join their ranks (the male never liked rogues, vagabonds, or anything of the like. He never trusted them, thinking they might let the pack down.). The stranger, whom went by the name Asriel, seemed to immediately take a liking to Nurina though the young she-wolf wasn’t a very easy person to please and she made the male work for her affection.
Due to her stubborness, Nurina never fell for the male, but she did consider him as a friend, or more like best friend. Months passed, and Nuseri grew to trust Asriel, whom was now a best friend for his step-daughter, Nurina. But soon, something awful happened. Asriel betrayed Nuseri's pack by murdering Nuseri with a couple of friends, who took over the pack. Frightened and unable to think about what had just happened, Nurina ran away. She ran, and ran, and ran. But with the shock, grew the realization - she left her brothers and mother behind, she didn't even try to help them. She just left, like a coward.
A year passed, and Nurina has learned to live as a loner. She's travelling around the Anikira, trying to survive all by herself. Every day, she thinks about her family. What would've happened if she hadn't abaondoned them? Would they still be alive?
Personality: Nurina once gave all her trust to one wolf, but that dependence seemed to cause the she-wolf a lot more grief than she could handle. Because of that violation of trust Nurina has trouble placing any amount of faith in anyone. Whether she is confronted aggressively or greeted peacefully by a stranger she will always respond with hostility and suspicion. In a way everyone is an enemy in the red-furred she-wolf’s eyes.
This she-wolf has an ego that sometimes outweighs her stature andis unbelievably stubborn when her pride is on the line. Although she’ll rarely be willing to step down or admit she’s wrong. She has a strange fascination with tearing others down from their pedestals, holding a special hatred for wolves that force their dominance and beliefs on others, though she’d never stop to violent means to do so despite her reputation as a “supposed” exile.
But despite to that, she'll often keep her thoughts to herself.
The few times Nurina is docile are when she’s tired or weakened, but even in those times she’ll still try to act defensive. Despite the way she outwardly appears she is a smart wolf though sometimes her intelligence is overshadowed by her big ego and leaves her mind clouded. Nurina also seems to have superb reading ability due to her upbringing. When she’s not using her head she acts on pure instinct and emotion which may spell disaster for her in future situations.
