With a heavy sigh, Mikko looked around her surroundings, she hadn't been in the land of Anikira for very long, only a rotation or two of the moon. And already she was wondering wether or not to return to her own land; where there was alot of cover and places to hide. And sand... glorious glorious sand.[/i] Lowering her head, she stood up and looked around her. All she had to do now was wait... but for how long?[/blockquote][/size]
Most of the wolves in this land had probably never seen an ounce of sand, and they probably wouldn't be able to walk on it like she could. They probably weren't built for it like she was. Then again, she was a different species to these wolves. She didn't look like them, nor did she think or act like them. Sometimes she wondered if she was a wolf or not, or if she just took a small appearance of one.
At least when she had traveled here she hadn't met any wolves, she had always feared that they would laugh at her, just because she was different. But so far, her shyness had paid off,and she had avoided detection of other wolves. But she knew sooner or later she would have to bee seen. It was just a matter of when and where. But although Mikko feared being laughed at, she had a strange sense of peave, a feeling which told her it wouldn't be so bad.
Making her way through a dense collection of trees, a strong scent caught her nose. Frowning she went over to one tree and sniffed at it. Immediatly she got a strong smell from it and she looked around her surrounding nervously. She had just entered into a pack land. And she had no idea how big it was, she wanted to get to the other side... but she didn't think it would be wise to try and go round. She had no idea how far this pack bourder went to, for all she knew she might not even be able to get to the other side.
Sitting down, she wondered what to do, she could either turn back and find somewhere else to head off to, she could try going round. Or she could call out to the pack's alpha and try and get permission to go through. Whining she wondered which one she should choose, of course there was one other option. She could see if she'd be allowed to join the pack. After all, she was quite lonely. But she was very different to these wolves... how did she even know that they would want her? "Oh bother, i'll have to do something." She mumbled to herself.
It didn't take her that long to decide, because before too long she had lifted her head and had begun to howl. "I call to the Alpha of these lands, I ask permission to enter your lands, so that I might seek shelter, and if need be, continue on with my journey."
