“You’ve caused less trouble than others. I suppose I can live with that.”

Rhodan nodded in acceptance, knowing fully well that he would need a place to sleep. Even after the trouble caused, if anything, he was grateful to Exodus for letting him stay. It was a relief to him that brown female did not ruin his stay on the continent as she had ruined hers.

"Thank you, sir," was all he could muster, before turning his attention to the small ball of white fur that the others were swooning over.

The little pup was apparently named Flea, and Rhodan smiled as the little cowardly creature called the two Mexican females, one named Machi and the other which had not been introduced and had not introduced herself.

"Well, little Flea," Rhodan said, laying on the ground so the taller brute was level with the sitting pup. "You're pretty popular already!" He gave her a friendly lick on the ear, his tail wagging happily.

It was slightly amusing, watching the black alpha go from happy to irritated with almost no downtime. Rhodan suppressed a chuckle, turning his attentions from Exodus to Machi to Flea, and then to the other Mexican female. If these were his future packmates, it could never hurt to be friendly and outgoing. He turned to Machi, and spoke from there. "I know your name is Machi," Rhodan said, rising to his haunches and turning his head toward the other Mexican while Exodus dealt with the black intruder. "But what's yours?"

With that, Rhodan sat and waited for a response, all the while fawning over little Flea.

The black, submissive brute jumped up to answer Exodus’ question. At this, the Alpha narrowed his eyes. Then, he proceeded to say how he did not know to wait at the boarder. This caused the great wolf to scoff. “Every wolf knows to wait at the boarder. Every wolf knows that coming onto another’s claimed land means the Alpha is within ever right to kill the trespasser.” Exodus growled and circled the black brute hoping the show of intimidation would give the other a good scare. Several times Malstor apologized and said he would leave if only Exodus would give the word. Sighing heavily, Exodus hung his head. A headache was beginning to form. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he realized that it was about time for another hunt. No doubt everyone else was just as hungry as he was. “Get out.” Exxodus didn't even bother to see if the brute did as he demanded. He knew he would.

The alpha turned back to glance at the ever so cute Flea who had moved since he had last seen her. Looking down, he blinked a couple of times before a small smile broke out upon his muzzle. “Yes he does, but we won’t need to hear any more of his words.” He said giving her a light lick on the forehead. She really was a blessing. Without his knowing, Exodus’ own banner began to flick smoothly from side to side. It was slow and measured, but it was a wag none the less. Looking up at the crowd, Exodus cleared his throat and became his normal, serious and gruff self.

A brilliant streak of lightning flashed across the sky only to be followed by a thunderous roar of thunder. Exodus snarled, his body becoming stiff out of surprise. That was defiantly not expected. Had he really been so worked up over all these new going ons that he failed to realize the scent of rain was in the air? Searching the air now, he sighed. The scent or rain was heavy and close. It wouldn’t take it long to get where they were. The charcoal trees shivered where they stood as yet another boom of thunder echoed throughout the land. A second after that, a howl split the air. Exodus’ ears rose while his cranium turned to better catch the sound.

The howl was from a female, a beautiful sound verse of lyrics and song. Raising a brow, Exodus listened and interpreted the news. “Denali.” He whispered with a scowl. “Come on guys, we’re heading over to Drarynough. The canopy from the trees will give us a lot more shelter than these burn ones here. If there’s time and the weather will allow it, we can organize a small hunt to catch us all a meal. I know you’re probably all hungry. More out guys.” Exodus said rising his voice so that all could hear. He didn’t mean for it to come out so army sounding, but it did. Ah well. Starting forward, Exodus lead the way to Drarynough where Denali and the femme with a howl of beauty waited for him. He could only wonder what they wanted from him. Something about the howl struck him making him think this wasn’t just a friendly visit and meeting.

Only a couple of minutes after their leaving, the rain came down in an almost torentual downpour. This displeased Exodus greatly, for he hated to ask his pack members to walk out in this kind of weather. But, it was necessary for him to check in on Denali. Perhaps she were in trouble. If she wasn’t, then why wasn’t she the one who howled? Maybe she was injured. Exodus frowned at this idea. His silver optics took a glance behind him at the line of members and focused in on Flea. Slowing his pace, the Alpha soon came to an easy walk beside her. “If you need a rest or anything, let me know.” He grumbled keeping a straight, serious face. That little pup had it made.

"And you're a little cutie," Crise chirpped back excitedly, not even phased by the compliment. Nothing could possibly phase her right now. She was already rather memoryless, so that meant she'd be rather chipper and cheery for a while. Of course, when in such a mood she often became a little too preoccupied with herself to really take notice of her surroundings.

As Flea rose to listen to the alpha chastise yet another tresspasser, the Mexican femora sat up on her haunches and took a moment to collect her thoughts. She ran down a mental checklist in her head, trying to figure out just what exactly she knew about herself. Unfortunately, that meant that everything the alpha was saying was going in one ear and out the other as he conversed with the tresspassers. Not like that information really pertainted to her though, thus leaving her to realize her birthday was sometime soon, if it had not aready passed.

'Five years old,' she thought, rather happy she could remember her own age. It was quite the accomplishment given her current state of mind. She had no recollection of past events, of names or faces she had come into contact with at one time or another. She could, however, remember many trivial facts about herself, and for now that was enough to keep her happy. It also meant she knew just enough to be weary of any overly strenuous activity. She did still need to tell Exodus about her heart condition...

"But what's yours?"

Her head swiveled in the direction of the male, confusion marring her face as his voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "What's my...?" Crise began, but before she could finished the question her brain made a logical leap and everything clicked. While she may not have been paying any attention, she had indeed heard the earlier bits of the conversation. She was being asked her name.

A silly grin crossed her maw as she sat there confidently. For once she could answer that question with little struggle, and it left her proud. To say the fae was in a good mood was an understatement. Currently she was in a great mood, and nothing to rain on her parade. Not even the sudden clap of thunder that sounded in the distance. Confidently she proclaimed, "I'm Crise," her smile radiant as she gazed at the former tresspasser.

But as another roar of thunder shook the forest, her smile faltered. Her auds pinned themselves down, burrying themselves in the fur of her head. Crise wasn't very fond of thunder. She was even more so afraid of the flash of light that lit up the ever darkening sky. A shiver ran down her spine as a hauntingly beautiful howl saturated the air not long after the thunder quieted, and she couldn't help the quiet whimper that escaped her maw.

Exodus's gruff voice was the next thing to assult her ears. Immediately she was on all fours, ready to high tail it out of there as fast as possible. Even if they weren't quite headed back to the den site just yet, she'd rather be moving as the storm hit as opposed to just sitting there begging the rains to fall. "Okiedokie mister sir Exodus sir!" she responded with a slight tremble in her voice. Another flash of lightening brought the heavy rains and caused another whimper to escape her maw. Then without little thought her paws swiftly carried her after the alpha, all too eager to avoid the inevitable storm.

<sub>Mizuki smiled when Exodus called her by her name. It felt nice to be known, instead of him just gesturing to her and calling her kid or pup. She was now known as machi With a small grin, and a wag of her tail she listened to Crise and Exodus doll over the small pup named Flea. Cirse was right, she was much to cute to be a bloodsucker. She nodded eagerly when Exodus asked if she could stay. "Stay." She chimed softly, in her mono-word sentence. She did not speak often because of her phobia or disease of you will. However, now that she was in a pack, she would farther blossom from her cocoon, and be reborn into a beautiful butterfly.

Mizuki sighed at the other brute who ranted on endlessly. She could see why Exodus hated trespasser, they where highly annoying. She shot the gray brute a glare before turning back to Flea. Smiling when she said she was pretty, she wagged her tail in response. Machi liked compliments, it made her feel better about herself and her ability to be social with others. Maybe there was hope for her.

It was then, suddenly her stomach made a hollow growl. She blushed embarrassed, and grinned sheepishly up at Exodus. Maybe he would take the hint and they could go hunting. She'd also love to find some fresh clean water. Her mouth was dry, and she didn't spend a lot of time at the lake last time she was there rinsing off from her "bathe" in the sea.

With a soft sigh, her brown colored orbs glanced around the dark forest. She should take the time to explore at some point. She didn't want to get lost, nor disappoint Exodus if he ever sent her on a mission. Which made her highly curious to what rank he would give her. She didn't have much talent, she was a descent huntress, enough to fend for herself. She didn't know much about herbs either, maybe gatherer, sometime simple she could do. But ultimately it was Exodus choice to choose.

The brute from earlier was accepted to be a part of the pack, she liked him. He seemed rather nice, even though he'd intruded, but if Exodus let it be, then so would she. She nodded to him when he'd said he knew her name. Before he asked for Crise. She glanced over at her fellow Mexican wolf, and smiled, however it was a bit uneasy. Crise had truly scared her more then Exodus had earlier. She would take note to avoid her a bit, however still get to know her, after all, she was in the same pack as her.

When Exodus spoke, Machi listened to him and nodded, glad he agreed to a hunt, after they went to this Drarynough place, and lush forest sounded much more inviting than a burnt one. "Affirmative." She said, standing up straight with a short nod, before following shortly behind him.</sub>

The little creamy pup smiled sweetly at both Mexican's and the timber male. She giggled softly, taking quick glances at the large, black brute next to her. Flea wasn't intimidated by Exodus anymore, as much as it tensed her how he acted towards the others, it was kind of funny in a way, as he snapped back into a brotherly figure towards the small pup.

Flea closed her two-hued eyes, and began to hum. She hummed the simple tune her mother used to sing to her and her brother ever since she was born. The fuzzy picture appeared in her mind, Flea smiled, and continued to hum the peaceful tune. Growls and threats from the black alpha blended in with her humming. Flea slightly listened to Exodus's deep voice, kinking her head to the side while her eyes remained closed still. Her hums subsided as she heard the alpha tell the stranger to 'Get out.'

Flea opened her eyes once more, gazing around until she met the silver ones of her leader. She sat quietly, with a silly smile plastered on her innocent, puppy face. Flea noticed that Exodus was smiling too, which made her even happier. “Yes he does, but we won’t need to hear any more of his words.” He responded to her earlier remark about the intruder speaking too much. Flea nodded to his remark, and was slightly surprised by the light lick to her forehead. She giggled cutely, raising her hind leg once more to soothe the irritable itch behind her ear with a smile.

Her leg retreated back to the ground under her. A flash of lightning lit up the forest, followed by a crashing thunder. The loud sound caught little Flea by surprise, causing her fur to stand and her eyes to widen. She shivered, then relaxed again. Moisture filled the air, rain was approaching, her eyes gazing the dark forest. Another loud boom struck the forest, but Flea was expecting the sounds now, what she didn't expect was the sound of a far howl. Her gaze automatically fell upon Exodus to see his reaction to the howl.

The black brute began to speak to the crowd. Flea listened carefully, her silly grin was replaced with a calm face. They were headed to the Drarynough, whatever that was. The alpha called to move out, the pup rose to her feet and shook the dirt from her fur, padding up next to Exodus. She was a bit hungry, that washed up fish from when she first arrived hadn't stayed with her very long. She was glad that Exodus mentioned a hunt, she was excited to eat real food for once. Gazing back at Exodus, she grinned happily again. Flea felt comfort around this particular wolf, though she could relate more to the females... But Flea never had a father figure, and Exodus preformed as the perfect one.

before leaving the sight, rain began to fall in large quantities. "I'm sick of water..." Flea mumbled softly to herself, lightly shaking off the moisture from her creamy coat. Her multi-colored orbs looked back at the wolves behind her for a short second. “If you need a rest or anything, let me know.” A gruff voice called to her. She jerked her head forward and glanced at him, then nodded. "I can keep up!" Flea chimed happily, picking up speed, trotting along side Exodus's stride. Her fluffy white tail wagging steadily as the rain pitter pattered against her fur.
