Spirit glanced for a moment at Kastiel when he nudged her shoulder, and it made her feel better in some way. Strengthened, she supposed. It was strange what the single touch of a packmate could do for one's emotional and mental health. As for physical health, only a healer could do much on that part. She was all too glad to watch her beta approach the female in a calm and steady manner, welcoming her and licking her forehead in greeting. He offered her a place in the pack, which is what the tundra wolf had been hoping for to happen. This wolf deserved a home, and she honestly thought there was no better place to start again. Airila was a nice pack, though small, and it needed members, no matter what they could do to benefit the pack. Strengths and weaknesses didn't matter, only the tight bonds of pack members did. At least, that was how it played out in her mind.
She trotted over happily to Haze and flanked Kastiel again, touching her nose to her new packmate's for a moment, then retracted again to meet her gaze. "Then, welcome to the pack, Haze." Her ears perked up high and she listened closely as Kastiel asked her what it was that she could do, how she could be of use to the pack. Of course, to Spirit, every wolf, no matter what rank, was important to the pack and was essential no matter what it was they could or could not do. Haze began attempting to list off her abilities, which she didn't seem to think she had many of. It was obvious the female, for various reasons, did not have a very high self esteem. Spirit felt enlightened when she said she was willing to learn anything, though. She felt she could help out in that aspect, as she would do with any one else.
Her gold eyes turned on Kastiel and she brought out her proposal, "I could teach her." She looked back to Haze. "I was raised to fight, so I could teach you how, but that's your choice. I'd love to do it if you wouldn't mind, but, again, that would be your decision, not mine." Spirit hoped she would somehow be involved in all of this. She wanted to be involved, as these were her packmates. After all, she couldn't be the only wolf with a fighter's rank in the pack, though she doubted that Torio, Kastiel, and Valmai couldn't fight. She was taught to fight from an early age, because it was often believed that, if you could not fight, then you were useless to the pack as a defender. If so, then the ones who could not fight either became the hunters, or the omegas, but the omegas outweighed the hunters, because hunters were favored and one would only get that rank if the alpha like the wolf.
