Kallik walked carefully through the woods, scenting at everything, taking everything into her mind. It was best that she learn the land quickly yet accurately. Yet as she wandered through the woods of her new home, Kallik started to scent something: Water. Fresh water, though it had a hint of stagnancy in it. Still, water was water. She pushed her way through the trees and came to a shoreline. A lake lay opposite her, sparkling in the dying light of the afternoon sun. Kallik smiled softly to herself and moved forward, towards the water. She dipped her muzzle int the water and took a long drought. It tasted slightly off, but it didn't affect anything else but her smell and taste.
After drinking her fill, she wandered off towards a fallen tree. It's leaves were all gone, most of it's branches snapped off as well. The bark was smooth, and had gouge marks in it. Obviously the wolves and (quite possibly) bears had used this tree to sharpen their claws and mark their terra. Kallik stood on her back paws, resting her front on the bark of the aged wood. She clawed the smooth bark with a slight smile, relishing how bits and pieces of the wood came out from under her paws. After trimming her claws and sharpening them, she lay down next to the tree, in the shade of its trunk. It had been a long day. Not only had she hunted, met with Vorilye, became a member of his pack, Descai, but she had also gone and seen the newcomer wolf, Accalia, who had promptly been run out of the lands. Good riddance, Kallik thought with an amused snort. Who needed a boastful fae like her anyways?
Kallik chuckled once more to herself before she stretched out with a contented groan. She sniffed, then wrinkled her nose. Something smelled off. She bounded towards the water, cocking her head to the side. She leaned over it and inhaled. Sure, it smelled faintly of decay or something similar, but that wasn't the scent she was smelling. She turned round and round a few times before she realized that the smell was coming from her. Not having been taught anything of growing up or of mating, Kallik did not understand that she was in heat. Afraid that something was wrong, she let out a soft whimper, then padded back to her previous spot. The smell was overpowering. She backed away, feeling confused. What was even more bewildering was that she was unable to stop thinking of Vorilye.
She snorted and shook her head, determined to ignore her idiotic body. With a Harumph, Kallik sat upon her rump and watched as the sun sunk lower and lower in the sky. Soon it was dusk, and the first starts were just starting to appear. "Beautiful..." Kallik murmured to herself. She hoped that Vorilye didn't mind that she'd left to explore.
The smell was undeniable. Vorilye could not help himself; he stalked after Kallik, lust clouding his mind as he sought after the one desire he had not managed to fill. She was his for the taking, was she not? He was her alpha, and he had every right to take what he wanted on his territory, including her. She had wanted a home, and he would make sure she did not leave. No, she was his now. His possession. Perfect, he thought wickedly, his normal demeanor burrowed deep beneath the overpowering lust that had seized control of his body. He wanted her now, and that was what would happen, whether she wanted it or not.
Vorilye's golden paws hurried after the femme, anxious to claim his newest toy. Alanna had not allowed him any time to frisk with her, Meridian was too young, and Angel had been too forward. But Kallik was ripe and new; he was intrigued by her. She was certainly the forbidden fruit, and he could not have her. Yet here he was.
The alpha brute spotted her, sitting blissfully by the water's edge. Little did she know what he had in store for her. Vorilye smirked, his confident side itching for some action. He would claim her today; if not, then she would no longer be welcome here. His golden eyes slid over the femme's sleek form, focusing intently on her rump as he approached. Hastily approaching Kallik, he skipped all formalities, thrusting his nose to her rump and inhaling deeply, cherishing the fruitful smells of fertility. She was a walking distraction for him; there was no way that he could focus with that overwhelming scent hovering around his territory. It did not matter that she was young. She was old enough to be in heat, and he had no problems defiling a new little femme. He hoped to one day be able to take sweet little Meridian's innocence, but today, he would settle for Kallik.
The brute growled under his breath as he lifted his muzzle to her ear. "You are so tempting," he murmured to her, rubbing against her flank anxiously. Vorilye was completely lost in her presence, and there was nothing anyone could do to stop him. The brute circled Kallik possessively, as if to ward off anyone else who may have considered challenging him for his pretty pet. She was such a beauty; he would have had to be blind not to notice it. Those green eyes stared deep into his soul, and he found himself even more drawn to her. She will be as good, if not better, than the others, he thought, licking his lips anxiously.
"Kallik, do you want me?" he asked her seductively, his tail swaying gently behind him. Vorilye knew that regardless of her answer, he would take her, but he wanted to confirm his suspicions. He wanted to know that she was just as attracted to him as he was to her. He wanted to be in control.

She knew when he approached her, by the crackle the small stones of the lake shore made as his paws brushed over them, by his scent, and by the emotions pulsating from his body. Apparently he was feeling just as she was. Yet, Kallik did not say a word. She merely dipped her head, turning it somewhat to gaze at him with a single emerald jewel. The surprise that came next made Kallik freeze; Vorilye had nosed her rump, and that made her heart start to race. It made her entire body fill with heat, and it made her insides pulse with need. She swallowed nervously, unsure of how to react. Her instincts were screaming at her both to stay still, and to ask him to take her. Yet her mind was telling her to flee; that was not appropriate, not in the slightest, and it was making her nervous!
Kallik took a deep breath and cleared her throat slightly, about to speak when he spoke instead. His breath tickled her auds, making her shiver involuntarily and press into him. Her body trembled against his, and suddenly she felt much smaller. He was at least a head taller and longer than she was, not to mention bulkier. After all, she was constantly starved. "V-vorilye..." she whispered, her voice catching somewhat as he started to rub against her flank. She had an idea of what would end up happening tonight. Kallik let out a pleased sigh, her eyes closing as she nestled into him, feeling at ease, yet excited at the same time. It was remarkable how...safe she felt with him!
Her eyes opened as Vorilye moved away, starting to circle her. Her thoughts were definitely confirmed. An involuntary whine slipped through her teeth as she slunk closer to him, rubbing her cheek across his, inhaling his scent at the same time. Then he asked the question, the one she knew she could not answer. She deliberately stepped away from him, her head tilting somewhat to the side as her green eyes roved over his muscular body. Did she want him? Of course she did! God forbid anyone should not want him! But the question was, could she be honest with herself, and him? No.
Yet, instead, she could show him...she moved forward again, nuzzling just at his throat, licking his chin in a submissive display. She rubbed her body gently against his, as he had to her, before she moved away again, showing him her rump. That seemed answer enough. She hoped she was doing it right, she really had no clue. But, instincts were starting to take over.
Vorilye inhaled the femme's scent greedily, almost unable to wait for any sort of response from the green-eyed beauty before he simply took what he wanted. It was scary how excited he became merely by hearing his name slide from between her lips. He was anxious for her, and her body was reacting in the same way. Vorilye would do anything to get what he wanted right now, and nothing was standing in his way. He was the alpha. He could have taken her even if she did not want him to. But knowing that she wanted him just as bad made the victory all the sweeter.
Her whine only served to excited Vorilye further as he lunged at her, seizing her by the nape of her neck while bringing himself closer to Kallik. The smell was intoxicating, controlling every action the brute made; he was completely lost. Vorilye was fully ready to take what was his. She would not belong to anyone other than him. Kallik was his play thing, and this was his playground. With her body under his control, he made the decision that could not have been avoided; he claimed her as his own.
The brute did not pause to make sure that she wanted this the way he did. Vorilye was completely turned over to instinct at this point as he played her like the toy his mind had associated her with. He was dominant, and everyone would smell him all over her. He would make sure that no one else had an opportunity like this; only he deserved the right to claim the members of his pack. They were all possessions and workers. He was their commander, and right now, Kallik was learning exactly what it meant to be a member of the Descai Pack.
Vorilye finished, releasing the femme from his grasp as he backed away from her, panting heavily. All of that pent up frustration had been unleashed on poor Kallik. Now that his mind was starting to uncloud from the lusty haze, he realized what he had done. He was not sure whether to be ashamed of himself or proud; his needs had been satisfied, but at what price? He approached Kallik tenderly, carefully moving in a way so not to alarm her. This was a different wolf than he had been only moments before; this was the more tender side that wanted to be sure that he had not injured her to a point that she would not want to be around him. He had tried hard to obstain from fulfilling his desires; he had succeeded with Alanna, Meridian, and Angel. But for some reason, this little femme had gone into heat early, and he could not fight the instinct to mate. Vorilye licked her jaw so as to comfort her, his golden eyes unable to look away from the piercing green that he hoped would not be filled with resentment.
I really hope I didn't just fuck his up, he thought, sickened by what might lie ahead. Kallik had trusted him. Vorilye knew she was cautious with other wolves, and yet he had treated her like a possession. That was exactly what had happened, and he felt the regret that he had tried suppressing creeping back into his heart.
No! I can't let this get to me. He argued with himself internally, unable to come to a conclusion about the situation. Vorilye was split. On one half, he was happily satisfied and pleased with himself. Kallik was formally his, a member of his pack and tied to him in a way that the other femmes of Descai had not yet been exposed to. On the other hand, he was anxious to see her reaction. Would she be angry? Scared? Would she leave? He had seen her skittish behavior, and now it was possible that she would bolt. What half should he believe?

Kallik was not surprised at Vorilye's sudden lunge, nor the slight pain and pressure at the back of her neck, but it still made her freeze slightly. She was going against everything she knew and believed in at this point. What was this like for her mother? Had her mother gone through this? Had she been in heat, found a handsome male and "done it", then called it a raping months afterwards? That could be the answer, and it made Kallik feel sick, disgusted. But the pleasure she received from Vorilye was just too much. As soon as he released her, she moved away. She was stiff and sore from standing without moving, and she needed to stretch. Her gaze turned to the water before her body turned to Vorilye.
Kallik blinked confusedly at him, at his expression, then at the tender lick her gave her chin. A flicker of a smile crossed her lips and she returned to affectionate lick. She wouldn't read too far into it, though. Her eyes closed in contentment as she nuzzled him, resting her head and neck against his broad chest. She listened to his breathing, his accelerated heartbeat. It made her chuckle. But, what now? What was to happen? She'd basically been used. But, she'd wanted it too...right? She told herself yes.
Kallik stroked his side with her tail gently for a moment, then moved away. She didn't like the look in his eyes. "No worries, Vorilye." Kallik spoke in her husky voice, chuckling again and rubbing her face against his tenderly. "What now?" she murmured, pulling away. It was hard -and awkward- for her to go back to formalities. Yet, she forced herself to bow her head, tacking on, "Sir?"
It was difficult for the brute to resist his urge to caress the femme before him. Kallik had willingly allowed this to happen, and she had not fled. Was this a sign that he was not as bad as he seemed to think of himself? Vorilye grunted softly; of course he was. He had obviously done something horrendously wrong to make his whole family turn against him. He would be a fool for believing otherwise, and now he had complicated a relationship within his pack without the rest of his followers even meeting her. Oh well, he thought indifferently.
When Kallik addressed him respectfully, he forced himself to look her in the eyes and smile gently. There was no use making this forced between them on a regular basis, but right now he was battling with himself so fiercely that forming the words alone had become a challenge. "Now, we gather the pack," he spoke carefully and nodded in the direction of the dens. "It's time for you to meet the others." He knew how she felt in the presence of other wolves, but Kallik would have to get used to it if she was going to remain in his pack. The last thing he needed was arguing and contention between the femmes.
Glancing again in the direction of the plateau, he gestured for Kallik to follow him. Vorilye knew she would likely pause to wash his scent from her, like all the others in the past had done, but he was not offended. It would probably be best given her new presence in the pack. "When you are ready, follow me to the dens. I will gather the others there," he instructed indifferently, his golden paws trudging across the terrain as he headed away from the female that just minutes before had been so intimately connected with him. The brute's head was clouded with different thoughts, and he needed to walk it off by himself. He would never figure things out if he let his instincts do all the work. Stupid, stupid, stupid, he berated himself internally, disappearing into the trees as he headed off towards the mines.

Kallik gazed into his honey-gold eyes and blushed softly, though in the darkness it was hard to see. She merely nodded at his words, shuddering internally. Great. Time to meet more wolves. Kallik sighed softly, muttering, "I must, and, I shall." She swallowed though, trying to prepare herself to meet the other wolves. "Packmates." she thought with a grunt. Her gaze moved as his did, and she nodded, her expression solemn. "Will go...Vorilye." she murmured, moving forward and permitting herself to lick and nuzzle his cheek once again before she moved away from him. It was time for a bath. She waited until he walked away, then, she turned back to the shore.
Kallik padded unsteadily towards the waters' edge, still feeing sore and tired and...unclean. What her and Vorilye had done was far from beautiful. They were not mates, not lovers, not even friends yet. No, they were merely alpha and subordinate, opposite ends of the spectrum. They'd given in to lust, and that was that. But even though it wasn't exactly a thing of beauty, was it wrong? Kallik didn't think so. She'd gone into heat, prematurely it was true, but it was instinctual. Wasn't her job to bear pups? Wasn't Vorilye's to spread his seed among as many as he could?
She stepped into the cool water, letting the heat ebb from her flushed skin. Her fur was cleansed of sweat, dirt, and other grime, not to mention most of Vorilye's scent. Some of it lingered though. She wasn't sure that would ever leave her. At least, not in her memories. Her memory of tonight would last a lifetime...Kallik smiled wryly to herself, and let out another shiver as she dunked herself into the water. She waded around for a bit, paddling slowly in a circle, letting the water wash away all the impurities from her pelt. When she was done, she left the water. Shaking her pelt out, she sat on the shore and licked herself dry.
Afterwards, she stuck her nose to the ground, following the scent of the brute. Somehow, she had feelings for him. Feelings she thought he returned.
