Sometimes she had to wonder why there were the good and the bad in this world, why some people just couldn't all be alike when it came to certain things. Couldn't everyone just agree to something for once rather than fight over it? It was almost the same way with males when it came to her thoughts. Some were not worth it and some were. Most times, it just depended on how she was treated by them. When it came to that male that she was supposed to have mated with, she grew to hate him. Kastiel was a different story. She respected him and loved him as she did the rest of her packmates, but there was an underlying feeling there. She knew what it was, but she was afraid to admit it.
Spirit smiled when he said his wounds were fine, completely unopened, then praised her for her work. She was no healer, so it was the best that she could have done. The pack had no healer and one was desperately needed at this time, especially with winter on the way. Winter carried many nasty things and a healer would come in handy. She could be of use sometimes, but she was not completely knowledgeable as some wolves were. The best she could do was keep out infection as she had done with her friend's injury. When it came to sicknesses and such, she was at a loss. She desperately hoped a healer would come to them soon. "Good, I'm glad."
She pulled her muzzle back at his comment, about always being her friend, and licked his cheek gently a few times. Such words meant worlds to her, something she'd never be able to get just by her own means. "I know that now, Kastiel, and I appreciate you..." Those words were not to be taken lightly from her. Her distrust of males, and wolves in general, was something she showed rather openly. She did not connect to Kastiel right off the bat when they first met. She was pretty positive, in fact, that they were on the verge of a fight that day. She was glad it had been avoided, or she would not be here right now.
The Tundra fae pulled away from him, stepping over to her kill. It would be a shame if this were to be wasted after she had caught it. Well, they could drag the remainder back with them to the dens if they wanted and share with the others. Besides, she would be keeping close watch on her friend to make sure he didn't do anything too reckless while he had that wound. She settled down beside the deer, patting the space next to her with her tail, then face the morsel. She did not restrain herself from taking a bite, tearing the flesh from the animal and taking a chunk of meat for herself. As she bit away at it, she waited for him to join her.
