It was late, the sun was setting slowly and the island of Ina'mos was slowly falling asleep. Then again, there were still many wolves running about all over the place as usual. It seemed like a part of Kairos never slept, but Olympus knew that part shifted and changed because each and every wolf - no matter how invincible they thought they were - needed sleep. He would need it too, and soon, but for now he let his paws carry him slowly towards the Liandry Falls. He had not been here for what felt like years, but of course, that was not possible. He had visited this place with his brother many times when they were young, but now he was alone. His twin had been scarce lately, and though he still could feel his presence even when he was not right beside him, he felt a part of his heart aching for the physical affection they had always shared.
The waters were loud, like any other waterfall, but there was something peaceful about it. He felt at home here, a peace, almost without a care in the world. But, of course, there were always cares, there were always worries. He sighed softly, letting his blue eyes wander slowly across the moving waters. They were the same eyes he shared with his brother, as well as their missing father. Whether Titan had left them or had disappeared in some unknown disaster, Olympus could not bring himself to care. Their father had never been there, only their mother and each other. Though Zohartze had not been the ideal loving mother, she had been there to see him off to the Agoge and she had been there to watch proudly over him as he presented his egg to Sabaoth.
She had been proud of him, she had said it to him directly. The enormous male's chest swelled with pride at the memory, one he would always cherish and carry with him. He was not sure if he loved his mother, not like he loved Othrys, but he knew that he cared for her on some level. Was he really capable of love? He would do anything for his twin, but their time apart had taught him that he did not necessarily need his mirror image beside him to survive. What was it like to love someone so much that he could not live without them? He frowned, shaking his head slowly and flicking his tail as his path shifted to bring him along the bank of the pool where the waterfall waters collected. Perhaps he would never know what love truly was, but he knew that someday he wanted to find out if he was even capable of such an emotion.
