Something in his blood was calling him away as if the quiet island that he called home. Ina'mos was such a boring place to be after the excitement of his Agoge. A part of him wanted to strike back out and find his destiny, the destiny that his mother had spoken of when she had broken his egg. He had yet to be tested according to the egg's prophecy and he wanted to face this challenge head on and find his glory. So much had changed since he left and if it hadn't been for his mother than Hyperion might have left already to find his destiny. As it was he knew that he would miss Messoria if he did decide to leave now and he had only just returned. Resting for a few days had suited him as he begun to realize that even with Goliath gone, Kairos was still a pillar of strength. Hyperion would offer his half-brother any assistance he needed to keep the pack united. As it was the majority of the ranks were filled with his sire's relatives. They all shared the same blood and that brought them together. Blood was an important thing to Hyperion and he believed that his full blooded family were his most important allies. His sisters Nimue and Morrigan were long gone, Croix was off to his Agoge, and Fawn was somewhere on this island. He hadn't seen their sister since they were both little and from what he could remember he hoped that she grew into a beauty. That would mean more work for him keeping all the unattached males away from her. He chuckled at the idea of chasing the males away. He would never get the chance to look out for his other two sisters, so he supposed Fawn would have to suffer the brunt of his brotherly affection.
He couldn't remember much about her other than she was a feisty little thing, who resembled an infant deer. Their parents had named her very accurately and he supposed that had been the point. Where the origin of her name was obvious the origin of the rest of his siblings names was not. Walking along he tried to see if anything within the tiny island had changed while he was away. There were some new pack members that he was actively avoiding, just because he wasn't in the mood to be accommodating. He was still working through the anger that he felt because of his father's departure. Goliath hadn't been particularly close with Hyperion, but the fact that he had left Messoria high and dry had made him furious. Hyperion supposed that he didn't know anything about love or what about it could have forced the Emperor away. He wouldn't understand until he found a love of his own. He never thought about finding a mate, assuming that when the time was right he would find a female. Nothing like the harem that his father had kept, he wanted to find someone that would be completely and totally his.
Moving about he caught a familiar scent, one that he didn't mind seeing. It was his sister. It had been months since he had seen her and he wanted to see just what she had grown into. Picking up his feet he pushed his way through the thickening foliage trying to pinpoint where she was coming from. "Little sister. Come out lest the big bad wolf find you and eat you up." His deep timbre echoed out into the surrounding woods. His words were teasing, reminding him of a time when they had not a care in the world. That time was gone now. Fawn
