The wanting was excruciating. Cherokee couldn't remember the last time she had ever felt this way. In fact, she had never felt this way until she had met him. Kenai was the first wolf that had literally looked into her eyes and made it feel like he was looking into her SOUL. Even now his dark orange optics flashed in her mind. She would have never imagined how difficult a long distance relationship could be and it was even harder with having the disapproval from her own pack members. Cherokee couldn't help who she had fallen in love with and she wouldn't change it for an instance. It was what made their relationship what it was. It was unique- different from all the others. Their love was one of a kind. But as the months had slowly crawled past Cherokee began to notice the swell in her stomach. She had seen Harlot enough to determine that she also was with child. She wasn't as far along as what Harlot was but her stomach had still ballooned outward. She had gotten far more curvy then the first time she had met Kenai, would he even recognize her? The want of having him near her was so strong that she couldn't even ignore it any longer. When she woke she stretched her legs out from beneath her, her sides heaving with the labor of it. Once she was able to get her legs beneath her she rose off of the ground. Cherokee didn't waste any time and lumbered out of the den and even further to make her way outside of the territory. It wasn't very often that she did this.. In fact the last time she had done this was that night.
As she walked she began to wonder what he would think. Would he be excited to be a father? They had not exactly professed their love to one another but Cherokee was certain that was how she felt towards Kenai. He was a gentleman, he cared about her well-being, and oddly enough he was just as socially awkward as herself. They were the perfect match for one another. It just didn't seem fair that they had to be so far apart. And of course there was the matter about where the pups would live. She supposed they would have to stay with her while they were nursing and then maybe they would split them up afterwards. She shook her head, there was no way she could make a decision without speaking to their father first. Butterflies flickered in her stomach sending jitters throughout her body. It was so strange saying that, but it felt so right at the same time. Cherokee couldn't picture herself with anyone else. He was the one and she would only give herself to him. It was only right that they were having children together- as if it were fate. Time seemed to fly by and soon she was walking across never ending hills. This was obviously Eden territory, that much Cherokee recognized from the last time she had come here. However her energy was draining and she had to slow to a halt before lowering her body to the ground completely. Cherokee would have blended in with the white terrain had it not been for the tell tale brown facial marking on her face. She panted heavily, resting for a few moments before she continued. She would find him eventually, she just hoped she didn't run into anyone else during the process.
