Xinelil, full of humor and vigor, trotted through the branches of the trees. Occasionally, a branch would shudder under the weight of the snow, dribbling the small crystals onto Xin's back. He shook his pelt, freeing himself of the excess weight. It was about this time that he broke free of the tree band, emerging near the base of The Kinath. He stared up in awe at the mountain peak that stretched high in front of him. The snowy summit was so far away...
Every path that the brute could see was slick, covered in inches of ice and snow. If they were to find a way up, it would be more dangerous with each step. This'll be easier in the spring and summer, though, he thought wisely. He still needed to wait for Nahuel... The slight movement beneath a nearby bush caught the brute's attention. Unfortunately, whatever was there seemed to slip out the back way. Another idea came to Xin's mind as he sat, waiting, for Nahuel to catch up with him.
Perhaps there were other wolves on the territory that had not made themselves known. "Any wolves that are on this land should come to the base of the Kinath. There is new order here," he howled. Now, any wolf that was on the territory would have no excuse for not knowing this was claimed territory. Wonder what's taking Nahuel so long to get here. It wasn't that far... he daydreamed slightly, waiting for the other brute to make an appearance so they could carry out their search for a den site.
