((OOC: Sorry. I know I should've posted with her ages ago. And I'm dumb for not doing so. And I apologize in advance for what Lyceia is about to do. XD))
Lyceia listened as the words flew from H'untryn's mouth. "Tryn... Please be nice," she pleaded with him silently. She knew he would feel the emotion behind her words. If it were not for the guilt and pain she felt for leaving him in the dust for Tryn, then feeling the need to have him close, he would not have to tolerate thm. It was the least she could do to keep her mate in check when around him. Besides, Ly had always enjoyed the carefree mannerisms of the black and red brute. It was entertaining and oftern a welcomed break from her uptight life. "I know he's not like you. But remember, I love him, too. Just not the same way." She shook her head slightly, a physical acknowledgement to accompany the thought. She licked her sides and let the slightest whine slip from her muzzle. It was barely audible; her sides were beginning to bulge and ache from the pups she carried.
Momentarily ignoring both her mate and her guardian, Lyceia turned back to Charrus. "It is not necessarily a pack of our kind that you may seek. Although it is much more comfortable there, you will have my mother staring down your neck," she smirked slightly at this statement. Jacquelle had not been pleased with their decision to leave the homelands, and she would most likely be upset to see an unfamiliar wolf from the south wandering into her territory. "You would be surprised at the toleration we have found in the past. My uncle had wandered across these lands for years, and he was accepted by the wolves that he came across. After all, we still are wolves, and most of the normal ones accept that. They are simply intimidated by our size," she explained with a chuckle.
It took a few moments before Ly noticed that Crim had wandered off. It was not unusual for him to stumble off on his own, but usually he had returned before the femme noticed. She was not uncomfortable with this; H'untryn rarely left her side, and he was a good enough guardian. It was only because of tradition that she had replaced her guardian after H'untryn became her mate. But it was not Crim's return that startled her. It was what ambled along behind him.
The pink and white femme's eyes stretched wide, watching a young fawn stalking after the large wolf. A confused giggle slipped from her maw, and moments later she was rolling on the beach laughing, unable to contain her giddy and uncomfortable feelings. Not only that, but her pregnancy only managed to amplify any emotion she felt, and that included her confusion and humorous disbelief. "What... are... you... why... is... that..." she gasped between exploding laughter, unable to choke out what she truly meant. It was such an unusual sight, and she was quite puzzled that the fawn had not been slaughtered by the large black and red wolf upon sight. Why Crim had left it alive and had not devoured it, she was not sure, but she was amazed that the fawn was brave enough to first off, waltz after a huge wolf and second, head towards an even larger group of huge wolves. "Wow." She finally regained her dignity and climbed back to her paws, shaking her coat roughly and flinging the sand from the bleached fibers.
Every moment of the day was getting stranger. As soon as Lyceia regained her casual appearance, her eyes glowed a bright blue, the thoughts rushing through her head. Her body seized up momentarily, and she stared off into the waves blankly.
A small femme, unfamiliar to the Cyale female, lay on the ground, her body convulsing seemingly uncontrollably. It was as if she were giving birth...
Lyceia's eyes showed her frustration and confusion. What did it mean? She had never seen such a vague vision before. It didn't make sense to her."That was peculiar," Lyceia stated bluntly, replaying her vision in her head for H'untryn to seen. It was short and somewhat pointless. Why did she care if some female was giving birth to her pups in the Oriens? The name was not something she was overly familiar with, but she had heard of the region, and the ethiopian female definitely was not adapted to the territory. So why was she there, and what did this mean? It was not often that the female was frustrated, and it was eating at her. That was, until the second part flooded through her eyes...
Two small pups, obviously mixed breed, lay squirming on the ground. The female was nowhere to be seen, but her scent was fading on the ground, leading away from them. They had been left alone, and there was a strong possibility that they would die if not cared for soon...
A state of panic settled over the femme. Glancing at the wolves around her momentarily, she darted off along the beach, rushing as quickly as she could without tripping over anything. Somehow, she knew exactly what to look for, exactly where to go, and the scents of the pups. She would have to find them, before it was too late for them...
