Rapture was not in the least phased by the insults and rude remarks from Ardemu. He was becoming more amused with each passing second, a smirk slowly formed. "When are we leaving?" Rapture finally was waiting for an opportunity to kill, though being a subordinate to a younger batch of wolves wasn't his profession, it'll only last a while until his children are born. He couldn't wait for the snack of his and Legacy's own flesh in blood, it would be way too tasty.
Rapture waited patiently for Ardemu to leave, unfortunately they would have to wait longer. Slumping down ina rather frustrated stance, orange orbs peered darkly at the white wolf who waltzed into the group. "Fairy princesses aren't allowed here." Rapture chuckled, nudging Sloth lightly as he found himself quite amused by his own remark. With all the humor bouncing off the walls, Rapture's belly gurgled and tensed with each breath. Rapture wasn't hungry, he ate that other Mexican fae before the encounter with Legacy. "I have to shit," Rapture stood and shook his head, then pranced off to do so.
After a few minutes Rapture returned, eyeing the massacre Wrath held upon the fallen Astar, then glancing at the white wolf and Ardemu. Rapture growled with impatience, he sat shoulders high, head low, and fur gelled towards the sky. Rapture wondered about that black brute that fought with the unknown enforcer of the Knaves, if he would be a better partner in crime. 'He's probably better off alone than here...' Rapture looked around then yawned boredly. If things didn't pick up soon, he'd ditch the group and have better fun alone.
"You are a fool.... brute, you have no f***ing right to come here. I don't care how ruthless or blood thirsty you may be. It's f***ing hard enough to keep these assholes in line, what makes you think I want another mindless bastard to test my patience?" At the male's outburst, Phantom only absent-mindedly flicked an ear, trying to ignore his hate-filled words while also attempting to keep his flaring temper in check.
Nobody, absolutely nobody called Phantom a fool and lived to tell the tale. The Grey brute dug his claws into the frozen soil, pearl-white canines glittering in the fading light as he let out a slightly muffled snarl. This was not some kind of joke, he could kill this pathetic excuse for a brute and all of his followers in the blink of an eye. All it took was one simple move, but Phantom chose not to.
He knew that the brute's outburst was only a result of his impatience with his half-brained followers, and so Phantom would wait until the whole thing blew past to speak again. His followers really didn't seem to be doing much of anything other than lounging in the open anyway, so they were no threat to Phantom. Besides, he really doubted that any of them would be stupid enough to take him on. Not without their alpha's consent.
The events in the background went largely unnoticed by Phantom, he could really care less about who was being killed and who wasn't. He only ever offered a slight ear twitch in the direction of the fighting females when the one's voice reached an octave where it was nearly unbearable. The words of the other brute didn't miss him either. "Fairy princesses aren't allowed here." What did they take him for, a peaceful commoner? Phantom would just as quickly prove them wrong.
As the background noises finally managed to die down, Phantom narrowed his chocolate orbs scornfully and began. "I am not a fool. You want an example of one, just look around you. I see plenty of fools there." he spoke coldly, growling internally. "I am not like these wolves. I have better things to do then to lie around and f*** females just for the fun of it." the brute pronounced, glaring disapprovingly at the Mexican brute who reeked of fresh blood, death, females, and sex. Those wolves were the scum of the wolf world, believing that raping innocent females was considered fun.
Phantom would never waste his time on a female, he'd much rather slay her and get the job over with. That was how all of his kills went, unless Phantom was in more of a playful mood, then he'd toy with his prey for a while until they begged for mercy, and then he'd let them go, with nothing but a few scars to remember him by. Should they ever cross his path a second time, he wouldn't hesitate to snap their necks and rid the world of their pathetic existence before continuing on his way.
Glancing back at the brute, Phantom couldn't help but add one last thing to the conversation. "Now you give me one reason, one damn good reason why I shouldn't be able to prove myself." the brute added gruffly, his tail tip angerly twitching as he eyed the brute much like a predatory bird eyes a mouse in its talons. This brute had one more chance to see the potential in Phantom, or else the brute would take his buisness elsewhere. After all, Phantom had always gotten what he wanted in the past, who's to say it wouldn't work now?
