A smile once again passed over the brute's features, all the creatures seemed pleased that there was going to be food tonight. Sure, it was not enough to feed all of them to complete fullness but it was certainly enough to prevent starvation and take the edge off the hunger. His yellow eyes slowly closed for a moment, not for exhaustion though. The red brute felt a sense of relief passing through him, all would be cared for tonight. Something within his soul felt slightly attached to the whelp that had appeared tonight, and Rasalas instantly knew why. 'She's so young, like my sisters were the last time I saw them. They may have been slightly older, but I remember their whole lives... that is until now,' Rasalas' eyes clenched shut tighter for a moment before he opened them. A clenching filled his test, making the intake of air rather difficult. 'Don't shed a single tear,' the brute tried to convince himself to hold everything within himself. No weakness would be shown to these other wolves, it had been a long day; however, this did not mean he needed to show weakness.
As Aries spoke to the pup a small candle of light began to fill his stomach, the emotions were mixed. He adored the fact that Aries had told the pup that he was no threat, yet the fact she felt intimidated bothered him slightly. Rasalas had never truly been viewed as intimidating, at least as far as he knew. Quietly he responded to her, "Yes Aries, I did eat some." If by some he meant a small rabbit he had happened to come across, then the brute was telling the truth. But he had not touched a single lick of the meat he had brought, that was for them. Rasalas was by no means going to sacrifice anyone's health for his own. After all, he was more than capable to care for himself. He nibbled Aries' ear before responding, "Darling, do not worry yourself about me sleeping. I wanted to bring the ferns and the meat back for you. I am happy to do such things for my future Alpha," he let out a nervous laugh for a moment before averting his gaze from the female once again. The brute was much more fond of Aries then he wished for her to know, after all she would most certainly find someone quite better than himself.
Quietly the brute observed the two femme's eating, a soft smile set upon his maw. It was quite a heartwarming sight, and Rasalas could not avert his gaze away from the two. Inside he felt excessively pleased with himself knowing that he had been able to provide some food to three wolves. They made him feel like there was purpose to his life, like perhaps he could counteract some of the demons that occasionally crossed his mind. These evil thoughts had never been so strong or within his mind so often when his sisters were around. Rasalas knew that this angry side within him was mostly sparked by the lack of control he suffered from. However, the brute had no idea how he was to be getting over this ailment. He had never heard of a plant that would aid with mental illness and cruel thoughts.
"I will at least lay down, I do not expect sleep to overcome me. Alas, if it does I will not fight it," the brute sighed softly. Sleep was the farthest thing from his mind. "That is true, sweet Aries," the brute paused for a moment to take in a breath of the fresh night air, "Even if I did cross to the dream land for a bit, I could still be awake before the sun rises." Cautiously the brute rose to all fours once again, deciding that going a little way away from the group would be best. He nuzzled Aries quickly and cast Kyra a soft grin. "Don't worry, you will be safe. Even if I do fall asleep, if something happens just let out the loudest yelp you can. I will gladly come running to help you," the brute pondered the idea of giving Kyra a friendly nuzzle; yet the brute couldn't muster up the courage to do it. Rasalas feared that touching the pup would bring up all the sorrowful feelings that were trapped within him. Tears would not be falling from his features tonight. That was for sure.
After getting a few feet away, yet still remaining in ear shot, the brute permitted himself to collapse to the ground. The ground felt divine beneath his tense, exhausted frame. 'Perhaps I will be able to nap,' the brute sighed deeply. It felt amazing to finally be able to rest, although it had only been two busy days he felt like it had been a year since sleep and rest were with him. At least now he had an opportunity to see what pack life may be like with all of them, he would have to sleep eventually with one of the others awake. Otherwise the brute would surely never sleep another day of his life, trust had to start somewhere.

It seemed as though everyone was trying to calm the little pup down. Which was a good thing. It meant that he was among good wolves with good souls. Of course he had always assumed that but, now it was confirmed.
He hadn't been paying much attention to Aries or Rasalas except for overhearing Aries say that he should get some rest. His attention was divided between Kyra and the food that Rasalas had brought for them.
Though, when Aries offered to let Kyra eat with her, the little pup made a b-line over to the food which really wasn't enough for three wolves but, he wasn't going to complain or say anything. He hadn't gone out to catch anything for anyone so, Rasalas was doing better than he was anyway. He also walked over to the meal and began taking pieces for himself. He had forgotten how hungry he had been until now. His eating was few and far in between.
When Aries spoke to him again, Scout looked up from his food and responded to her. Thank you, Aries, I would be honored. Scout smiled at her, happy that someone wanted him around enough to offer him a position in a potential pack. Then, he went back down and ate a little more. He wanted to make sure there was enough for the others as well.
Scout nodded as Aries addressed him again, asking him to give Rasalas something to make him sleep. He went over to his little basket of herbs and found some Chamomile that he had gotten from Shiya not too long ago. It was a daisy looking flower that was usually used for stomach issues but, could also be used for anxiety and to induce sleepiness. He picked it up out from the basket and gave it to Rasalas to eat. He gave him a quick smile before leaving him with the plant.
Yes, a walk will be fun, Kyra. I'll go with you as well. Scout honestly just wanted to get out and look around for a little bit. Night time was the best time to do it and it may actually do the pair good to have someone with sight along with them. Besides, it would give Rasalas peace and quite to sleep if he actually ate the Chamomile.
((this was a horrible post..it took me forever to write it.. i have to apologize for it's crapiness))
