It was pleasing to finally hear a creature break the silence with words, the momentary silence had been deafening. Vega was not quite certain what to say at these events. For once something had turned out rather good for her? It felt like her mind was going to erupt, 'Someone will care for me?'. Paranoia instantly arose in her soul, what if his care was similar to that of her father's? This brute would not get away with beating her, Vega would simply not allow that anymore. If one wanted to make her a pet they would have to work quite hard at it. No longer would she easily let herself be pushed around. Her mouth remained closed, she stayed silent. This was hard to digest, that she was welcome to stay upon pack territory. 'We will not be slaves, we refuse it,' the female heard herself groan within her mind, but knew that silence still consumed her body. A tight grip was still held upon her throat.
The femme was unsure if the Alpha was that desperate for members or if the female just wanted a torture creature. Instantly, when Vega's mind wandered to packs the thought of brutality came over her. It was evil, hatred and agony that accompanied these sort of groups. 'They all must be the same, right? We know best, being alone could be ideal,' yet the female could not bring herself to move away from Akihra and the lands that belonged to her. Exhaustion had worn this female down to an extent that the femme had never felt before, even the thought of moving made her bones feel broken. 'Perhaps we should stay, for a bit, rest up,' the female nodded vigorously, only causing her head to end up swimming. Nausea washed over her small, now shaking frame, for a few minutes. Rapid movement was not the brightest of ideas that the femme had held.
"Thank you," her voice was weak, and her head sunk to the ground. No longer did she feel as if it was possible for her neck to support the weight of her skull. The pain within her leg had now spread through her spine and down the other three limbs. Golden eyes squeezed tightly shut, feebly attempting to push away the agony that was creeping over her. 'Go away, go away!' Her mind pounded in tune with the agony pulsating through her figure. Leaving this territory would no longer be an option at this time, as every muscle had given out. Finally her body had decided that if it would not be given rest, then it would take it. No longer would she be able to push herself with no sleep and all the insomnia demons had dissipated. Steadily her breathing began to even itself out, and for a split second her golden eyes opened. A blurry image of the Alphess and Elu swirled around her, before Elu disappeared speaking of food or something. Vega was not certain that her senses were being totally accurate. But Elu's frame soon vanished, and her golden eyes slipped shut again.
Although Vega typically despised falling asleep in public, especially around other wolves, it was unable to be avoided. This time the female had collapsed into sleep, more peaceful than she could ever remember. She tucked her tail snugly around her body, and gently tucked her legs underneath her frame, but breathing never went astray from its beat. Within the female's mind an ocean was crashing against the rocks, mist spraying over her frame, cooling her. It was her mind's natural defenses against the agonizing pain, exhaustion and starvation that was slowly killing the female. But for now, pleasure and peace devoured the female's soul as she slept upon these strange lands.
