Monca couldn't believe it, their small event together was coming to a end. Just a small thread of wool on a whole scarf, that continuous to be woven by both time and space. Her red eyes scanned beyond Geist, towards the plains, pass Descai lands towards the raising mountains in the north. To the west a setting sun shone out it's dying rays, red and orange scarred into the clouds above. Other always saddened Monca to think she was nothing special, just another wolf in the hundreds here on this island, and her meeting Geist would lead to nothing important, nothing was going to happen today. Letting out a sigh, her side expanding and exhaling all in her lungs like a balloon, she lowered her head, pressing her ears ageist her skull and looked up at him.
She spotted something change in his eyes as she talked about the pack, she wondered what his pack had been like. A group of Maned wolves together was as social as they can get, but Monca had never heard of a pack, the thought welled into her, A pack of Maned wolves! Oh that would be amazing to see, just perfect She could see it now, a perfect pack, no harm, no violence. But of cause she knew that's impossible, her imagery pack would just be a flock of sheep, no dominance, no high ranks or guidance by a leader, but always will it be her wee miracle.
She knew as he stood that he wasn't going to play, she didn't really blame him, she wasn't really a challenge. Roylo would of been though, he had worked out every day from the day he had disappointed there mum, and had caught some femme eyes whenever he was out by himself, even though he would be years younger. Funny, no-one played much attention to her, but Geist seemed to see as a friend, mabye more. A smile tugged on her lips, she was sure to miss Geist, he was nice to be around, taking away the nagging thought of loneliness. She did hope he would come back, a knight on a gleaming white horse. Shuffling on her feet she looked back down at the ground, a small winter breeze curled into her short red pelt, sending shivers thought her and reminding her that winter hasn't yet let go. Better get home.
Monca welcomed the warmth of Geist as he stepped closed and rested his head on her shoulder, she hesitated for a moment before lying her head on his. Nice to meet you too She said quietly, her voice catching a little. Her heart leaped when he told her of his travel north, but it was more that he would be coming back for her, the thought made her feel just a little more bearable to go back. Thinking about going back she best bring something back with her, like a hare or something, so she didn't go back empty handed. See you again then, Geist She tried to sound cheery for the future, but just watching Geist body lower in sadness filled her with sadness. What if they never did meet again? What if their friendship is lost is the wind? Creeping forward, Monca licked Geist on the cheek. Smiling as she pulled back Monca turned away, with the sea at her back and the sun at her side she guessed she was heading back the way she had came. With one final look over her shoulder at Geist she gave a small howl biding him farewell before turning and going at a lope back to her pack lands. Her howl carried by the small cold, bitter wind blow away.
