SPEECH.
The air was stale in the Shyom. Kamikaze lay there, unsure if it was morning or night. He looked around him at his new packmates, a deep sadness laying over his soul. For he had just learned the previous day of his Aunt's disappearance. Apparently, Fury and Sydas had just up and left one day, and never returned. And Severus had assumed the Alpha position in Fury's continued absence. The small wolf sighed. He had so hoped to see his aunt and uncle again; they would have had their pups by now. It would have been nice to have a distraction from his pain and turmoil in the form of young pups. It only made it worse too, that his Uncle Kenai would be gone. Kenai had never let himself be separated from Sydas for any length of time. So, Kamikaze had already assumed that Kenai would be gone as well.
He stared at the cavern floor. Sydas must have slept here countless times. But then again, she was always the type who preferred fresh air and the open forest floor, so maybe she had left the packlands to sleep every night. A small smile crept onto his maw; Fury would have never let her do that if he weren't there himself to protect her. Or maybe Sydas had stayed in the cavern most of the time, considering it her duty as Alphess to watch over her pack. Fury, no doubt, would have greatly approved of that notion.
Sighing, Kamikaze lifted himself to his paws silently. He wasn't going to get any sleep; he might as well accept that. There was no point laying there, listening to his packmates sleep around him, risking the chance that he would wake one of them. So he silently left the Shyom, and made his way through the caverns, familiarizing himself with all of the passages. He came upon a scent that intoxicated his mind. For he had still not eaten much in several days. He had eaten yesterday when he displayed his hunting skills for his Alpha, but he had let Severus take the first portion, and had therefore not fully satisfied his own hunger. Stopping, he let his ears and nose tell him what sort of creature it was.
Raccoon.
Oh, it had been so long since he had tasted raccoon. A smirk slowly formed on his maw. Today, he wouldn't run himself exhausted. Slowly, he stalked the scent. As he grew near, he could hear the creature scuffling about, obviously assured that all the predators that inhabited the underground caverns were asleep. Kamikaze slowly advanced, making sure that ever step was well-placed and silent. After a few minutes, he was able to briefly glimpse the creature. For there wasn't any underbrush to hide behind, and he couldn't risk being seen until the right moment. Kaze quietly stalked around a rather large stone. As he neared the edge, he readied himself. Slowly, he pulled himself around the stone, and then most rapidly he ran and caught the raccoon. The poor creature had looked up and tried to run, but Kaze caught his tail just before he ducked into a hole in the ground. Quickly, Kaze ended his life to spare him anymore anxiety or pain. And almost as quickly, he devoured his prey hungrily.
Looking up, he heard a noise a little ways off. Was there another restless wolf among the caverns?

ooc This is technically my fifth thread of four, but since Nia won't be replying to my joining thread for a long time, I'm counting that one as inactive for now. Which would make this one number four (: So here you are, Dus! Sorry about the wait D: and about the crappiness ><
