SPEECH.
The Eye of Fenris.
It was there that I met her. Her name was Zira. It was beautiful. I was torn.
The cavern was smooth, and moist.
I found myself in the sinkhole, and there she was. She was dancing. It was so beautiful...
The water droplets looked like crystals.
She smiled at me, and then we danced together. It was intimate, and it was everything.
And then you met Mommy?
Yes, little Kaze. Then I met your Mommy again.
Tears welled up in the eyes of the year-old male. He missed his father, Kismet, terribly. Oh the moments that they had shared. He had heard the love story of his father and mother many times, but only one time had his father mentioned another she-wolf that he had loved: the mysterious Zira. When he spoke of her, a certain tenderness entered his eyes, and a certain wistfulness had been barely perceptible in his voice. It wasn't the same as what happened to him when his mate, Inaya, was around. When she was around, he was always lit up like a light bulb, and so very enthusiastic and happy. Oh, how he would tease her. Kaze still remembered. They were so in love. But that one time that Kamikaze had gotten his father to speak of Zira, there was just such an underlying tone of tenderness that it made the little pup wonder what had happened. His father had described their intimate entanglement; it had been passionate and short-lived, for Kismet had soon after fallen for Inaya, giving her his whole heart. Ridden with guilt, he had gone to find Zira, to explain and plead with her, only to find that she had fallen in love as well. They were both washed over with relief, and had become happy close friends. But Kismet had always wondered what would have happened. Kaze could read it in his father's face as he recounted the story. Afterwards, Kaze could never get his father to speak of it, or that she-wolf again.
For once, the memory of his father didn't send him into an episode, and Kaze was grateful. Slowly, he made his way into the tunnels of the Eye of Fenris. He was determined to find that sinkhole today. He was determined to play in the pure, fresh water as his father had done and dream that someday he could share such an intimate dance with a she-wolf. If any wolfess was stupid enough to love his psychotic brain. Huffing in annoyance, the male took tunnel after tunnel, with absolutely no luck. Why was it so hard to find? Most likely, it was because the very tiny sound of water echoed deceivingly throughout the cavern, leading him in every wrong direction and never in the right direction. He was so focused on his ears and nose alone, that he wasn't paying attention to his vision much and could easily run into anyone who happened to be in his path.
