History: Inara is the product of a pack long since disbanded, born on Anikira to two pureblood Iranian parents that served as alphas of the small, quaint group of wolves. Despite being the only female of the litter and unquestionably the smallest, she proved prone to reckless tendencies from a young age.
From the moment she was old enough to move and speak, she was wandering away from her mother's warm side, starting squabbles with the crows who were far too intelligent to be frightened by an over-confident pup. More often than not her mother would hunt her down and physically drag her wriggling body back to the den, while Inara squirmed and snapped in the cackling birds general directions. Inara had no personal vendetta against birds, of course, but more so against anything and everything that she could occupy her time with.
As she grew, she proved incompetent at most tasks given to her - not because she was bad at these tasks, per say, but because she quickly grew bored. While her mother insisted that she would grow out of her stubborn persistence, her father had little patience for Inara's shenanigans, as she regularly put the pack at risks.
When she was well past the mark of a year, Inara's father began to lose patience very quickly. At every possible opportunity Inara would sneak off in search of adventure, often times without telling anyone where she was going. After one of her late night expeditions, she returned the next morning to her father's wrath, and she was kicked out of her pack with no chance of redemption. Stung by her mother's upturned muzzle and her brothers taunting eyes, Inara left without a fight, cursing her previous pack the entire time. Refusing to admit how deeply their disapproval had hurt her, she proclaimed that she would survive on her own despite her small, dainty size.
In the beginning, her endeavors got her into more trouble than not, and Inara quickly learned that surviving on her own would be more difficult than she’d originally thought. She adapted quickly however, learning that her small size could be more helpful than harmful. Many wolves took compassion on her for her diminutive figure, allowing her to take shelter in their company and pick at the remains of their catches.
For many moons she used others in such a manor until she learned to better fend for herself, and from that moment on, Inara thrived. She learned where to take shelter, especially in the cold winters where her shorter coat was not suited for the harsh weather, and where it would be easiest for her to hunt. While surviving had become more like a second nature to Inara, she was still very much prone to reckless in her boredom, getting herself into questionable situations from time to time.
To this day, Inara roams Anikira, skirting pack territories, always in search of the next adventure. While she no longer thinks of her previous pack and family, there is still a deeply ingrained need to keep moving, and to keep proving herself to anyone who dares doubt her.
Personality: Brave, daring, courageous - these are all words that Inara would like to think describes herself. Reckless from the start, Inara has always had a problem with boredom first, and rules second. Born into a small pack consisting mostly of family, she was always the most reckless of her siblings, doing a fair job of driving her parents up the wall. Driven by her need to be in motion and to always have a task, Inara developed a certain skill for breaking rules, which stayed with her as she grew. For the most part, the she-wolf is amiable to those that she encounters, although she has no qualms about adopting an "every wolf for herself" attitude if it benefits her. When Inara has her sights set on something, she can be quite cruel if there is someone attempting to keep her from what she desires. She will do anything and everything that she must to survive, including sometimes using others for the benefit of continuity. While Inara would like to believe that she is confident, she is prone to fits of attention-seeking that push her to earn the approval and validation of those around her. While she would never openly admit to such a blatant display of insecurity, she is more comfortable when she is being praised. Deep down Inara has a warm heart, likely due to her nativity, and yet she has no shame in doing what she must for herself, no matter the circumstances.
