Roka was miserable. For whatever reason she could not get comfortable at night, her body constantly complaining. She hadn't managed a good night of sleep since Sabaoth had left, so obviously he was the root of her problems. The food here didn't much appeal to her and she was finding herself more and more selective when it came to food. She also noticed that she was getting slower and had gained some weight since her arrival on the island. It made sense since she now had a pack to hunt with, not having to work as hard to bring down enough food for herself. Giving up on sleep she decided to go in search of Datura. Roka didn't know many other people in the pack and although she deplored company the female needed some help. If she didn't start sleeping soon she wasn't going to be a very pleasant pack mate. The last thing she needed was for her temper to get her into trouble with the alpha. It was all Sabaoth's fault, she had been feeling so unsettled since he had taken her. Of course he would never admit to causing her discomfort it was obvious that his rough lovemaking had done more damage then they had thought. Roka would never regret what had passed between them, but it did add a little more fuel to her anger. If he was here she would at least have some help with this, be able to tell someone.
For now Datura would have to be the one to listen to her concerns. She really hoped that she wasn't sick or that there was no lingering damage. It would be just like life to screw her over when she was finally getting a sliver of happiness. Trodding along she took a break every now and again, regaining her breath. Whatever was wrong with her it was sapping her energy. She wanted to kick herself for being so weak. Grumbling she looked about wondering where the best place would be to look for the tiny femme. Huffing and Puffing she made it to the center of where the pack tended to congregate when they didn't have duties to perform. Being the matriarch it made sense that Datura would be around the new mothers and young pups. Her own had made the swim away from the island to the Agoge, so she had more time to focus on the raising of other pups. "Damn male making me miserable." He had gotten his jollies off and then left her to sit on this island while he was off teaching the young ones. He was teaching Datura's children, his nieces and nephews. It was selfish of her to be so angry with him for doing his part to help his pack, but she cared not. His actions had been selfish in nature so she would not regret hers. "Datura?" She called out hoping that the matriarch was close enough to hear her. Trekking about to find the alpha's mate seemed an unbearable task. If anyone knew the adverse effects of breeding with a giant it was sure to be her.
