The night was dark, darker than usual as the new moon offered no light at all. The wind was howling, whispering haunting tones through the trees. Their was a sharp coldness to the night air and as a whole, the scene seemed like something out of a nightmare. It was a scary, intimidating, and it matched the personality of the wolf who was stalking through it. The black colored wolf blended in perfectly without the moon's light and she made sure her steps remained silent. She was coming closer to a pack's territory but she wasn't slowing down. She knew where she wanted to be and what she needed to do and she moved with flat out determination.
As she neared the pack's territory, she allowed herself a break from her movements and took a deep breath, smelling the scents of the wolves she would hopefully soon call her pack mates. With the disappearance of the wolf she had hoped would become her mate, she was more determined than she had ever been before to prove what she was made of and to find a wolf who would cherish her personality and who would see the strength she had to offer. She had heard of Descai before and they sounded like the best pack to make what she wanted to make happen, happen. She also knew they had a hatred to Kairos which was one thing she too had. She was certain of her plan and her confidence pushed her forward, closer to the border.
Once she reached the border, she stopped. She normally would have walked right on in, find the alpha, and demand she get what she want. But this was different. She needed, wanted, to make a good impression on the alpha from the start. She wanted them to see that she was well disciplined, determined, and that she knew what she was doing. She needed this to go right. She stretched her head up towards the night sky and sung out. It was a loud song, easily heard above the harsh wind. It was one of determination and of dedication, of confidence and of potential loyalty. It was a brilliant song that called forth the alpha of Descai.
