She has moments of clarity, along with episodes of mania that can cause erratic behaviors. She is also susceptible to paranoia.MentalMental Stability: Unstable.History: The female’s life began innocently. She was born to a pair of rogues and given the name Sunflower, along with one sister. Their parents were a little…. strange, but they were close, delying on one another to survive. Her mother spoke of spirits unseen, both evil and good, that communicated with her, dictating where the family should go. Without a pack for protection, they were barely able to survive. As the pups grew and a terrible drought accompanied the scorching summer, when prey was hard to find or impossible to catch on their own, the little family resorted to stealing from others. Her sire and dam held no remorse for their misdeeds, since it was a matter of life or death. The pups were used as a distraction. While their parents cared for them, feeding them once their own bellies were full, keeping watching over them, there was something strange about the family dynamics. As Sunny grew, she began to suspect that she was little more than a convenient pawn. Still, she stayed with them until her first birthday.Mother’s convictions lead them throughout Anikira, and they were never caught in the act – a sure sign, she claimed, that the spirits were with them still, providing and encouraging them onward. The voices in her head couldn’t protect the delusional bitch from danger forever. Their mother was cut down before the girls’ eyes, decapitated by a male lion that was easily twice the size of the wandering wolves. Then, Father abandoned the young wolves. He couldn’t take care of them on his own, and with his beloved mate torn apart, he couldn’t bear to look at his offspring. Without a word to his daughters, he disappeared in the night, and the bitterness within Sunny festered. After the family unit fell apart, Sunny and her sister were left to their own, and both girls quickly fell into the old habits their parents had inadvertently taught the lovely females: take advantage where you can, or someone else will take it instead. For a time, Sunny and her sister acted as a team. Ultimately, however, familial ties were not enough to keep them loyal to each other. As her first winter alone approached, Sunny abandoned her only remaining relative to strike out on her own. Now more than ever, the art of deception was a necessity. Sunny stole, she lied, and she experienced no feelings of guilt when taking from the mouths of strangers, be they male, female, young or old. She had no need for them, anyway, and no desire to create lasting bonds with any of the wolves she encountered. While some were cruel to the lone female, more took pity upon her, offering her shelter and food. Sometimes, she would stay a few days before vanishing without goodbye or gratitude.Along the way, she met many others, many names and faces since forgotten. The story changed unexpectedly when she encountered Journey, a beautiful she-wolf she found during her travels who had recently lost her entire family. She was drawn to the stranger. Like two magnets pulling together, the pair became inseparable. Sunny wanted to see more of her, determined to keep her by her side and it wasn’t difficult for her to convince Journey to join her. Together, they survived the only way they knew how… Through dishonesty and theft, by any means necessary. The pair looked innocent enough. No one would suspect them of anything. And it was remarkably simple to get away with it. Sunny and Journey seldom went hungry. Sunny could tell from the first moment that Journey was different than the rest, but trusting someone else proved a challenge. When Sunny was gravely injured during a hunt, it was Journey who stayed by her side with loving patience – something Sunny had never experienced, and knew, deep down, that she was not likely to experience again. They were the happiest days of her life – unhindered by a pack or obligations, the females had only each other, and it was enough. Their luck ran out, finally, when an attempt to steal from a wandering pack went awry. Journey fought valiantly, but was outnumbered and easily subdued. Both Journey and Sunny were captured and kept captive for purposes unknown. Sunny assumed it had something to do with the approaching breeding season, which she had no intention of participating in, nor would she allow such a disgusting act to happen to Journey. Two days passed, the girls kept separated, before the angry shouts of the pack roused Sunny from her fitful sleep: ”She’s gone! Go after her!” The words trickled into her exhausted mind. Gone. Journey had escaped safely, albeit alone. Sunny was both happy and heartbroken – How could Jo leave her behind? When Sunny escaped weeks later, she left in a fit of rage. The pack had begun to include her in their hunts when she professed her loyalty, finally allowing her to eat. But she would not give in. When she departed the bloody scene, one wolf was dead and several others maimed. Once again, she was left to her own. Journey’s scent led one direction, and Sunny turned the other, determined that it was better this way.Personality: The girl’s name doesn’t seem a proper fit for the wolf who bears it – manipulative, shameless, and calculating, Sunny’s callous demeanor is normally tucked away carefully beneath a pleasant façade. Blessed with effortless sensuality and natural grace, she knows she can use her looks to her advantage and never hesitates to do so. She is a born storyteller – she can conceive lies as naturally as breathing oxygen. Her deceptive nature is usually undetected until it is too late. She takes what she wants, and then she is gone. She can be respectful when she needs to be, but cares little about rank or prestige, or those who claim it. To truly earn Sunny’s respect is an impressive feat, though not impossible.Sunny finds it difficult to trust others, for she has seen the worst of lupine nature. Unconcerned for the well being of most, with the rare exception of those with whom she has formed genuine attachments, Sunny is a far cry from empathetic or compassionate. The plight of others garners no sympathy from Sunny, and she is unlikely to help a stranger. Her “soft side” is reserved for a small number of wolves, and her feelings for them are often shifting with her mood. She was a jealous streak when it comes to Journey, to whom she is inextricably tied.Beneath the beauty and illusion and tricks, this femme has the heart of a fighter. Capable of shocking brutality, Sunny doesn’t shrink away from violence, and when confronted, will not hesitate to defend herself until she is too injured to fight on. She is determined, whether fighting another female or a male, to prove that she is not the dainty, helpless femme she often masquerades as. She is particularly adept when working alongside trusted wolves such as Journey, for she is perceptive and often able to guess her partner’s next move. Her intuition helps to stay one step ahead of her foe, and her size enables her to move quickly in battle.
