The scent of something distinctly rabbit hit the back of Tempest's throat, but just as she was about to follow the pungent trail, Erastor seemed to pick it up and began to hunt the small mammal. Not wanting to disturb him or interfere, the smallest wolf there decided to not bother with the rabbit and instead made conversation with the foreigner—well, not a foreigner any more. Now he was a resident of Anikira just like Tempest.
"Thank you, Erastor. It's nice to see how kind the wolves of Anikira are," was Ciar's response to Erastor giving the smaller male food. It felt terrible to tell him, but it was necessary.
"Indeed, I know some very kind wolves on this island," Tempest began softly, so as to not frighten her new friend. She then continued, "However, some are not so nice. I know a pack called Kairos... They took away my home and now I am a vagabond, wandering aimlessly. It suits me, yes, but that does not make taking an innocent wolf's home any better. It is not only Kairos. We have just as much diversity as I would assume that your homelands have, with lovely, noble spirits and the more sinister ones. Do be careful and don't trust blindly, Ciar."
The words seemed rather wise, especially for Tempest's age and with the way that she had worded them. Her curiosity and yearning for knowledge had gained her some information that might have been restricted from most young wolves, but it had been granted to the silver fae from her active pursuit of learning.
It was then that Ciar posed an enquiry about packs of Anikira—this was not Tempest's strong suit, but considering that Erastor was relatively new to the island as well, she would probably be the most informed out of the pair of them. "Well, as I said before, there's Kairos, but I would avoid them at all costs. They cause nothing but trouble." Tempest tried to be unbiased, but it was hard when they had ripped her away from Athena, the last remaining connection to the mother that seemed to have left her body behind, the body taken by some crazed spirit. "Then there's Valyn... If you go there, then mention nothing about me. I could not face the... The shame, I guess. Anyway, there's also Airila and Ultoris which I do not know much about. And I think that that's it... There might be more—those are all that I have heard of."
Was Ciar looking to join a pack? Kairos was brutal and Tempest did not want to refer a new member to them at all, and Valyn was female-dominated—not the best place for a male like Ciar. She only knew the names of Airila and Ultoris, so that did not help much if Ciar wanted to know of them.
"Just a fair warning... Valyn, the only one other than Kairos that I know anything about, is dominated by females. If you're looking to join a pack, then Airila or Ultoris might be something to look into since they are probably more accepting towards males like yourself. Males are treated like Omegas in Valyn, and obviously Kairos is not the best place to be."
