It was like a dream. Walking on the mainland of Anikira was so foreign now since she had been gone for over a year on Ina'mos under Kairos rule. It was like everything was new to her and with that of course brought a measure of fear for the skittish female. Green eyes never stopped moving along with ivory ears twisting this way and that to get a sense if danger lurked nearby. She was alone. Truly alone for the first time in a long while that she feared she wouldn't be able to fend for herself like she used to. Of course she could still hunt well, that was her job and she was good at it. But even in the confines of Kairos she learned that her survival was solely reliant on staying invisible and mute. She never said much and when she did it was easily lost in the breeze. It was like the black marking on her face was a true muzzle to keep her thoughts to herself.
And she was tired. So tired. Rarely resting since she made it across the waters, her legs ached and her paws were sore. She knew she had to rest soon or else she would be an even easier target for some dark creature looking to snuff out her life. And she was sure there many. Things couldnt have changed that much. Cruelty never died.
Dragging her slender form towards a boulder, Tala laid on the cold ground and wrapped up into a small white ball. Tucking her nose under her plume even made her most noticeable mark, that dark muzzle, invisible. She could blend in with the snow easily, her one redeeming quality for being so pale was winter was kind enough to hide her.
Telling herself she would only rest for a few moments, her light green eyes closed and she unknowingly drifted off into a much needed sleep.
