No trust had ever been given. Even less had been received...
Abyss's coarse, age-worn paws pressed against the soft grasses of the plains. Here she'd lived for the past year and a half; here, she had been exposed to hatred, mistrust, and struggles. It was time that she moved on to somewhere where she could make her own memories, not suffer through the memories of her past.
Abyss trotted along the terra, heading northward to the lands she'd once fled through. Perhaps by now the trees of the forest had healed, and the land would be suitable to inhabit. It was close to other harsh memories, but nothing could be worse than the years that she had already suffered. It was time she tried to put some of those things behind her. Her temperment would not work to her advantage, though; she was not sociable, didn't have many practical skills, and had barely survived for the past bit of her life. She was sickly and malnurished, and it was likely that a pack would be caring for her for a while. But onward she trotted, headed to what she hoped would be the beginning of her new life. A new chapter.
Kaito walked around searching for some sort of prey in these plains. He was tired really. His paws dragged behind him ripping up most of the earth under him. His eyes were barely staying open, he kept himself from yawing but the yawning sensation in his mouth was starting to get to him. He had spent almost a whole day chasing after some stag and now hopelessly chasing ghosts. He was on a wild goose hunt, and there was no way he'd actually catch the "goose". He walked on further until He collapsed on the ground. He stayed awake staring now at the fuzzy view. "Shit." He let himself curse as he laid there feeling paralyzed. He guessed that he had needed some rest about an hour ago, but in his mind he didn't believe that he really did need it, but now he had to let his body rest.
He growled out some more cussing until it became hard to breathe , but he didn't want to let his body get the best of him. He was going to lay here awake until he wanted to sleep. Stubborn as he was. Each moment he tried getting up, and if he did he'd walk a few steps, let out a few whimpers of pain from one of her foot snapping back from no longer wanting to go on, but through all the pain he went through from this he still prevailed to go on, and catch some food. At least then if he ate he wouldn't be as weak.
(( ooc;; i know, it isn't the best I've ever done but i guess it's something, and better than nothing.))
